Friday’s slate features just three games, and one thing you will notice as you scroll through the prices on both sites is how top-heavy the forward position is. There are some mid-priced forwards I like as well, but all of my lineups feature at least two stud forwards, so you should probably plan accordingly. That being said, I like four of the top forwards quite a bit, so they are a bit interchangeable in that regard.

The one guard who could give the top forwards a run for their money is Courtney Vandersloot, especially now that Cappie Pondexter has been ruled out for a third consecutive game. As much as I like Vandersloot, there are some value plays at guard I like a bit more, especially considering they should be less popular plays. Finally, I think Minnesota’s entire starting lineup is worth a look in this slate. The Lynx are the oldest team in the league and should benefit from five days off since a dreadful showing against the Mercury. Minnesota may not win this game, but I would be shocked if they don’t play well.

Briann January, G, IND $  4,000 $        4,600With Shenise Johnson out for the season, January played 31 minutes Wednesday and led the team in assists and field goal attempts. January is underpriced on both sites, and while I like her
Tamera Young, G, CHI $  4,300 $        5,800In the last two games with Cappie Pondexter out, Tamera Young has averaged 14.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists. That is really solid production for her price, and she should be pretty safe with Cappie out again.
Courtney Vandersloot, G, CHI $  5,600 $        9,800Vandersloot had at least 12 assists in each of the last two games with Cappie Pondexter out, and at least eight assists in four straight games. If she does it again she will be a nice value, and she should be a fine cash play even if she falls short of her recent production.
Stefanie Dolson, F, CHI $  5,400 $        7,200No team has allowed more made three-pointers or free throws than the Liberty this season. Stefanie Dolson is shooting 41.9 percent on threes and 86.2 percent on free throws this season. New York is especially vulnerable to pick-and-pop threes, and if Dolson makes a couple early, she could have a huge game. The risk for Dolson is foul trouble. Dolson has fouled out twice already this season, and defending Tina Charles without fouling is a tall task.
Maya Moore, F, MIN $  7,100 $     10,100I fully expect a bounce back after Moore played her worst game of the season Saturday. She didn't make a single basket or record a single rebound, and with five days off to rest and practice, I like her chances at another 20+ point game.
Elena Delle Donne, F, WAS $  8,100 $     10,900In her only game against Indiana this season, Elena Delle Donne had
Emma Meesseman, F, WAS $  5,100 $        7,300Meesseman played a season-high 31 minutes Saturday and scored 16 points (also a season high). If I knew for certain she would play that many minutes she would be a must-start against an Indiana team allowing the second-most points in the WNBA and third-most rebounds.
Lindsay Whalen $  4,300 $        5,200Whalen is averaging 10.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists on 3+ days rest. Whalen had 14 points, four rebounds and two assists against the Mercury two weeks ago on four days rest. She is a safe cash play, especially on DraftKings.
Camille Little, F, PHO $  5,000 $        5,500Little bounced back from a terrible game against the Liberty with a near double-double against the Dream. Little had 16 points and three rebounds against the Lynx two weeks ago, and her price is great on DraftKings.
Tina Charles, F, CHI $  8,500 $     12,600While I do think Stefanie Dolson can do a solid job against Charles, there is no ignoring the fact the Sky have allowed 84.8 ppg this season and 34.4 rpg. Fowles and Delle Donne will probably wind up the better values, but if you can afford Charles you should probably pay for her, especially in cash lineups.
Kia Vaughn, F, NY $  5,100 $        6,900While I think Tina Charles is super safe, Kia Vaughn may be the Liberty center who really takes advantage of Chicago's lack of prowess on the boards. Vaughn is coming off a rough game against the Mercury Sunday, but she had at least eight rebounds in three consecutive games prior to that. The Sky are third in the WNBA in opponent's free throw attempts, which could play into Vaughn's hands.
Sylvia Fowles, F, MIN $  8,500 $     11,800Like her teammates, I expect Fowles to bounce back with some time off. Fowles was actually 6-7 from the field against the Sky, but she only had six rebounds and only played 29 minutes because the game was out of hand in the fourth quarter. Fowles should be much better in this game, and I especially love her for cash lineups.
