At this point in the playoffs, constructing an NBA DFS lineup is all about analyzing Game 1 and deciding if those performances represent a trend. I will offer my take on many of the relevant Game 1 performances below, but there is one team I want to mention here since I am mostly fading them: the Toronto Raptors.

Kyle Lowry has finished with an effective field goal percentage below 40 in 17 of his 32 career playoff games. DeMar DeRozan’s playoff career effective field goal percentage is 40.2, which is third-worst among players who have attempted at least 500 shots in the playoffs since the adoption of the three-point line. Lowry will score more than the four points he had in Game 1, and I wouldn’t wave you off too fervently if you wanted to take a shot on a bounce back in a GPP, but DeRozan and Lowry are both really expensive considering how poorly they have performed in the playoffs.

Perhaps more importantly, the Raptors could not get any open looks against the Bucks in the second half Saturday, and I’m not convinced that will change anytime soon. Lowry and DeRozan got into the paint easily enough, but they were always met by tall, young athletes with super long arms waiting to block a shot. There are better places to look for fantasy value than Toronto.
