You might think the real excitement for fantasy golf lies next week, with the U.S. Open. You would be wrong. FantasyAces is getting in the fantasy golf game this week, and I could not be more excited. They will of course ramp things up for the U.S. Open next week, but you have a chance to get in on the real action this week with the FedEx St. Jude Classic. Fantasy Aces is starting things with a bang, introducing their $500 PGA Free Roll. As such, the St. Jude Classic PGA DFS Playbook has been updated to include FantasyAces prices and a player I especially like for FantasyAces games.
This is the weakest field we have had in some time, which makes it essential to play at least one of the top four players this week. I prefer Dustin Johnson and Billy Horschel, but I wouldn’t argue with anyone who wanted to start Ryan Palmer or Phil Mickelson. Things get pretty ugly after Paul Casey and Brooks Koepka, and even those guys are far from a sure thing. With so much volatility in the field, this may be a good week to focus a bit more on GPPs like the $500 PGA Free Roll at FantasyAces.
