Daily Fantasy Football Sleepers & Value Plays for Sunday, December 15th

Welcome to Fantasy's Daily NFL Sleepers and Value Plays For Sunday December 15th where you will find some Discounted Dandies for Week 15 of the Fantasy Football Season (using DraftStreet prices) at each position. Hopefully the weather is a little more cooperative for us this weekend, and if you want to get an early look at what to expect from Mother Nature view this week's NFL Weather Report by our own Ivar G. Anderson. Best of luck this week, and may all our picks bring sunshine and rainbows (with a pot of gold at the end).

* Matt Ryan ATL (13.3%) we all know how much better Ryan plays at home/indoors, of Ryan’s 20-plus Fantasy Point games this season all have come indoors. Roddy White is healthy and producing, and they face a Washington team that has the second highest defensive passing touchdown percentage in the league and opposing quarterbacks are completing about 67% of their passes (fifth highest in the league).

* Joe Flacco BAL (11.5%) you do not have to worry about the weather this week with Flacco as the game is indoors in Detroit versus a Lions team that is tied for fourth fewest sacks. I am not one to ignore or dismiss stats, but there are some exceptions, which in the case of the Lions defense against quarterbacks the past two games I think we can look past last week’s snow game and the week before that where the Lions faced a combo of Matt Flynn and Scott Tolzien and take a look at the six previous games prior to Week 13. In that six game span the Lions allowed 16 passing touchdowns and an average of 21 Fantasy Points to opposing quarterbacks. Add in the fact that the Lions secondary is banged up with a couple defensive backs as game-time decisions.

* Kirk Cousins WAS (11%) the photo above suggests that at least one person is happy that RGIII has been benched and there could be more happy campers if you roll with Cousins and he takes advantage of the tasty matchup versus a Falcons team that prior to last week had the second fewest sacks in the leagues. The Falcons are currently allowing the fourth most Fantasy Points to quarterbacks and the second highest completion percentage at 67.1% (tied with the Panthers). I also like Browns Jason Campbell this week, but he will cost you over $1,200 more than Cousins and there is a chance of snow in Cleveland this weekend.

Running Backs

* Chris Ogbonnaya CLE (6.2%) is averaging 5.2 yards per carry and the Bears are allowing a league high 5.2 yards per rushing attempt.

* Alfred Morris WAS (10.8%) whether you decide to go with Kirk Cousins, or not, I think we can agree on the fact that Cousins should be able to move the ball against that pitiful Falcons defense, which should lead to plenty of red zone carries for Alf.

* Ben Tate HOU (9.6%) should be well rested since the Texans last played on Thursday of last week and the Colts have allowed 95-plus yards rushing in each of their last six games since their bye week and in eight of their last nine games.

Wide Receivers

* Cordarrelle Patterson MIN (7.1%) becoming the Vikings big play, go to receiving option and is facing an Eagles team that are allowing the most Fantasy Points to wideouts.

* Riley Cooper PHI (9.8%) The game will be indoors this week against a Vikings defense that has allowed the most passing touchdowns of any team in the NFL.

* Roddy White ATL (9.9%) has 18 receptions on 23 targets for 217 yards in his last two games combined. (For some insight on Washington’s defense see Matt Ryan on the quarterback page).

* Dwayne Bowe KC (9.4%) has scored a touchdown in three of his last four games.

* Steve Johnson BUF (8.7%) has been targeted an average of nine times over his last three games. Look for Stevie J’s four week touchdown drought to come to an end this week as the Jaguars have given up a total of 562 receiving yards and three touchdowns to opposing receivers over their last two games.

Tight Ends

* Delanie Walker TEN (8.2%) will return to action this week and you could not ask for a better matchup than the Arizona Cardinals.

* Charles Clay MIA (8.1%) the Patriots have allowed at least one touchdown to a tight end in three of their last four games and Clay has 14 receptions on 17 targets for 177 yards and two touchdowns in his last two games combined. Clay has not been targeted fewer than six times since Week Nine.

Defense/Special Teams

* Bills (5.9%) lead the NFL in sacks and the Jags will be without Maurice Jones-Drew.

* Saints (5.9%) has three or more sacks in four of their last five games and nine of their last 11 games.

* Patriots (4.2%) are tied for ninth in turnovers created and Ryan Tannehill has been a league-high 48 times, seven more than the next closest quarterback.
