by Michael Pichan (@FantasyNomad)
P Ian Kennedy Padres ($12,200, 12.2% of cap at Fan Throwdown- Play Now): Kennedy has blowup potential, but has strikeout per inning potential and the Giants are rolling Barry Zito out to the mound giving Padres a good shot at providing some run support for Kennedy.
OF Vernon Wells Yankees ($2,400, 6.9% of cap at Fan Duel- Play Now): Wells is hitting lefties to the tune of .296 this season. Also consider Red Sox switch-hitter Daniel Nava who hits batter from the left side.
1B Chris Carter Astros ($8,300, 8.3% of cap at Draft Day- Play Now): Price has come down of late and there is always the potential for Carter to send one (or two) into the seats.
SS Clint Barmes ($3,400, 3.4% of cap Draft Kings- Play Now): Two home runs is his last eight games and has a favorable matchup versus Brewers Tyler Thornburg.
3B Connor Gillaspie White Sox ($5,473, 5.4% of capDraft Street- Play Now): Get the L/R matchup versus Yankees starter Phil Hughes and the game is in Yankee Stadium
