Daily Fantasy Football Sleepers & Value Plays Divisional Playoff Edition

Your season long league are over, but thankfully we still have Playoff Daily League contests to fulfill our fantasy itch.

* Philip Rivers (13.3%) if you are set on saving money at this position Rivers provides some solid upside and is the most discounted quarterback on DraftStreet. In two games against the Broncos this season Rivers threw three touchdowns to no interceptions. Von Miller played in both contests, but as you already know, Miller will not be playing the remainder of the season for the Broncos. Ryan Mathews has not practiced all week and is questionable to play Sunday, but even if he does it would likely be in a limited role, which would mean that the Chargers will rely even more on the passing game against a Broncos pass defense that ranked 21st worst overall in the NFL this season.

Running Backs

* Danny Woodhead (8.7%) with Ryan Mathews questionable to play (see Philip Rivers on previous slide for more information) Woody would be in line for even more touches Sunday. The Broncos allowed the third most receiving touchdowns to running backs on the season.

* LeGarrette Blount (8.2%) posted season-highs in carries (24) and yards rushing (189). Blount has scored four touchdowns in his last two games combined and is facing a Colts defense that ranks 22nd against the run. On top of all this, the conditions in Foxboro tonight will also favor running the ball as the winds are expected to pick up around game time to about 23 mph and rain is in the forecast.

Wide Receivers

* Julian Edelman (8.1%) very surprised to see that Edelman is outside the top most expensive wideouts this weekend. Edelman has been targeted 38 times over the last three games and is averaging about 10 receptions for 94 yards receiving in that three game span, and could be inline for some extra targets with Aaron Dobson ruled out for tonight’s game.

* Keenan Allen (8.4%) is Rivers favorite receiver and if we like Rivers then it is Allen who should be the key to Rivers reaching his potential. Allen reached the end zone twice in the two teams most recent matchup in Week 15.

* Percy Harvin (5.5%) is a full-go this weekend and the price is almost too tasty to pass up.

* LaVon Brazill (2.5%) a total GPP boom or bust play. Brazil saw four more targets last week then fan favorite rookie wide out Da'Rick Rogers. And, based on the less than favorable conditions expected in Foxboro Saturday night, Brazil gets the edge over Rogers as the majority of Brazil's targets come closer to the line of scrimmage.

Tight Ends

* Coby Fleener (4.5%) is coming off a seven target, five catch game that produced 46 yards receiving and a touchdown against a Chiefs defense that had allowed the third fewest Fantasy Points to tight ends during the regular season. The Patriots defense against the tight end position, in terms of Fantasy Points allowed on the season, is a little jaded as they did a great job of limiting production to the position when they faced teams that had mediocre talent, but got lit up at times when they faced more talented tight ends.

13 receptions for 153 yards and two touchdowns to the Falcons in Week 4

5 receptions for  52 yards and a touchdown to the Panthers in Week 11

6 receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown to the Broncos in Week 12

12 receptions for 173 yards and two touchdowns to the Browns in Week 14

Defense/Special Teams

* Colts (2.7%) whereas the Patriots defense is banged up and will be missing their leading tackler in Brandon Spikes, the Colts defense is fairly healthy. Tom Brady was sacked 40 times on the season (8th most) and the Colts registered the 11th most sacks on the season with 42 led by Robert Mathis who topped all players with 19.5 sacks in the regular season.
