Thursdays have always been my Fridays, (What can I say, I’m Irish, you know how we like to roll and yes I drink PBR when I can’t get my hands on some Guinness). As a sports fan you could not have asked for a better Thursday as we have day games starting at 12:35pm ET, with some more between the hours 1pm-4pm, followed by a small slate of six evening games. In addition, for you prospect lovers out there like myself, the 2014 MLB Draft kicks off at 7pm ET. And finally, Game 1 of the NBA Finals starts tonight at 9pm ET. I am a little disappointed I can’t attend the MLB Draft again this year, but at least I won’t miss out on the rest of tonight’s action while being able to follow along with my picks of the night that I hope have us all getting a DFS "Blue Ribbon."
Remember, if you get caught in a quandary remember if you have a specific question remember you can always tweet @FantasyNomad and/or post in the comments section below. Don’t forget to bookmark the following three sources to check daily as a compliment to our picks of day.

Starting Pitcher Picks of the Night
||2-0 at home with a 2.77 ERA in two starts and is facing a Phillies team that has lost five straight and are in last place in the NL East, if the Mets are ahead of a team in the standings then you know that team sucks.
||Cubs own worst team BA and OPS vs RHP in all of baseball
||Had there been a better pitcher going, before his previous poor outing, who was getting as little notriety as Peralta? Look for a bounceback game from the righty who has only 1 start out of 11 where he has allowed more than 3 runs and in 9 of those 10 starts he held opponents to two or fewer runs. The home run ball hurt him last start at home, tonight he is pitching in spacious Target Field.
Discounted Hitter of the Night: Kole Calhoun
Top teams to stack: Diamondbacks at COL vs RHP Juan Nicasio, Orioles at TEX vs RHP Colby Lewis, Rangers vs BAL RHP Chris Tillman, and the sneaky stack of the night are the Astros at home vs LAA LHP Tyler Skaggs. The Astros are one of the top hitting teams in the American League versus left-handed pitching as you saw C.J. Wilson get a taste the other night of their 5th best OPS and second best average among AL teams this season versus lefties.
||will be most popular choice after Wed. HR, 6 RBI game and you get LvsR matchup and the price hasn't changed much if at all
||Hitting .318 (14-44) with six extra-base hits including 2 HR vs RHP and gets a tasty matchup in a hitter friendly park in Houston vs RHP Peacock
||LvsR matchup vs BAL RHP see Beltre below
||Price amazingly reasonable for a guy hitting .560 (14-25) over last week. If he is not eligible at second then consider Astros Jose Altuve or Mets Daniel Murphy
||Been the Beltre of old lately and gets homer friendly BAL SP Tillman who is making an emergency start and while it will still be on 5 days rest he was orginally scheduled to start on Saturday, so a two game change for players who are creatures of habit additionally does not bode well for Tillman tonight.
||See Tuesday's DFS Playbook
||LvR, dude is a MVP player when healthy
||LvR, batting leadoff, mashing lately .318 (7-22) and calling for a HR vs homer friendly Brad Peacock
||Price is still reasonable, especially compared to his teammates and see Tuesday's DFS Playbook for more
||If you don't want to pay up for Michael Morse
Best of luck tonight and and again if you have a specific question remember you can always tweet @FantasyNomad and/or post in the comments section below. Be sure to check our Fantasy Alarm MLB Daily Lineups and Weather closer to gametime and here is a possible lineup to consider for Thursday night:
