Injury News

I will focus on any injury news that pertains to this evening’s slate of games, but be sure to visit our Player News section to catch up on other injuries and player insights that will give you a head start when it comes to planning your lineups.

Eric Bledsoe will play Wednesday night, but come off the bench. The return of Bledsoe will obviously cut into Gerald Green’s minutes, thus I will be avoiding either player this evening as Bledsoe still has price tag based on his production prior to his injury and Gerald Green’s salary has skyrocketed over the past couple weeks.

As expected, Jamal Crawford (calf) will not play on Wednesday, extending Darren Collison’s value tonight and likely for a few more games as Crawford is expected to miss more than just tonight’s contest against the Warriors.

Chris Paul suffered a groin injury on Monday, but said he will play Wednesday, combine this news with CP3's high price tag and it is best to avoid him tonight. There are plenty of other safer, high upside point guards to target tonight that can be found in our Daily League Picks article.

Gerald Henderson went threw shoot around today. He is expected to play Wednesday night, which brings an end to goofy looking Chris Douglas-Roberts value days.

Amar'e Stoudemire (recovery) will not play Wednesday vs the Celtics. Jeremy Tyler will likely get the start in place of Stoudemire and he is definitely a discounted dandy that is on my radar this evening. He finished with 18 FP in 18 minutes of his last game against the 76ers and I would expect for Tyler to see more playing time this evening increasing his chances of exceeding value even more so tonight.

Tyson Chandler will miss his second game in a row while Cole Aldrich will start at center for the Knicks on Wednesday. I agree with our very own Mark Kaplan, “Aldrich has never done anything worthwhile in the NBA besides being a good cheerleader on the end of the bench.” So to state the obvious, ignore Aldrich.

Mason Plumlee will start at center again for the Nets in place of Kevin Garnett. For more on Plumlee check out today’s Daily Fantasy Basketball article.

Mo Williams (right hip strain) is questionable for Wednesday's game in San Antonio, which should mean more minutes for Damian Lillard (I would be cautious of buying into C.J. McCollum tonight as he will not be alone in earning reserve minutes at the guard position as he was the last time Williams did not play).

Phil Pressey is expected to start at point guard for the Celtics on Wednesday against the Knicks as Rajon Rondo will not play (rest). Flip is averaging 6.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and more than a steal per game in his six starts this season, but in the two games where he has played more than 30 minutes (one as a starter) he is averaging 14.5 points, 1.5 boards, five assists, and two steals per game. With Rondo, Avery Bradley, and Gerald Wallace out I see Flip playing close to or over 30 minutes tonight making him the value play of the night.

Best of Luck tonight as you get ready to take on the machines in SYKLLZONE'S Fan vs Machine contest and remember you can always ask your questions in the comment section below and/or send me a tweet @FantasyNomad
