Injury News

I will focus on any injury news that pertains to this evening’s slate of games, but be sure to visit our Player News section to catch up on other injuries and player insight that will give you a head start when it comes to planning future lineups.

Kemba Walker is questionable to play in Brooklyn as he experienced some tightness in his sore Achilles that caused him to leave Tuesday’s game early and not return. If Walker is out upgrade Ramon Sessions who has averaged over 12 points and six boards in seven starts this season and will face a Nets team that are allowing the fifth most FP to opposing point guards over the last 15 days.

Anderson Varejao (back) did not travel with the team to Detroit. C.J. Miles, who missed Tuesday’s game with a foot injury is questionable and if you read yesterday’s Daily Dribble hopefully you took our advice and rosterd Dion Waiters who had another good outing. Waiters would be in play again tonight if Miles is out and his price tag did not sky rocket.

Dirk Nowitzki will play tonight in Indiana and Devin Harris (knee) is expected to suit up as well against the Pacers. Neither of two players are too appealing against the stout defense of the Pacers, also considering it is a road game for the Mavs.

Ty Lawson (ribs) will not play until after the All-Star break. Randy Foye tweaked his ankle in Monday’s game against the Pacers but seems likely to play tonight in Minnesota against a TWolves team that is not known for stopping too many opposing point guards from reaching value.

David Lee is expected to play at home against the Heat while Andrew Bogut (shoulder) and Jermaine O’Neal (wrist) have been ruled out. Lee and Stephen Curry have favorable matchups, but other than those two I would look elsewhere.

Kevin Martin (finger) will miss 2-3 weeks. Almost all starters for the TWolves are worth considering tonight against a Nuggets team that is banged up and are allowing the third most points to opposing teams on the season.

John Henson has been ruled out with an ankle injury. Larry Sanders is out indefinitely after fracturing his orbital bone. Caron Butler and O.J. Mayo are OUT and Ersan llyasvova is questionable with a sore back. Upgrade Khris Middleton and ZaZa Pachulia with so many injuries to the Bucks squad.

Tony Parker will miss tonight’s game with a back injury. Manu Ginobili, Kawhi Leonard, and Tiago Splitter will also sit out and Patty Mills is questionable with an ankle injury. Danny Green is expected to play despite having a sprained knuckle.

LaMarcus Aldridge (groin) is expected to play tonight in Los Angeles against the Clippers in a game that is expected to be the highest scoring contest of the evening as Vegas has the over/under set at 218.

Amir Johnson, who missed Monday’s game, is questionable to play as the Hawks cometo  town. If Johnson is out then upgrade Patrick Patterson again as he is coming off a 22 point performance against the Pelicans and would have an even more favorable matchup tonight as Paul Millsap and the Hawks are allowing the second most FP to opposing power forwards over the last 15 days. Update: Johnson is OUT.

Kevin Garnett will play Wednesday in the first game of a back-to-back as the Bobcats come to town tonight. Reggie Evans will miss the next two games due to family reasons.

Avery Bradley (ankle) is unlikely to play against the Spurs in Boston. Mr. Fantasy irrelevant Gerald Wallace should get the start at shooting guard. Brandon Bass is probable after getting poked in the eye in Monday’s game, but it should not matter as Jared Sullinger is the big to own in Boston, granted I do not love the matchup.

Patrick Beverley (abdominal strain) will be a game-time decision for Wednesday's tilt with the Wizards, Rockets' radio play-by-play broadcaster Craig Ackerman reports. Should Beverley not play than Lin would slide back into the starting lineup for the Rockets and may be worth considering as a  contrarian selection in a GPP as very few people will flock to him after he scored just two points in 33 minutes against the TWolves last game, but before that Lin was averaging 16.0 points, 1.4 3-pointers, 4.8 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.2 steals in the five prior games, so the upside is there, but roster at your own risk.

No Statistical Nuances from the Nomad today (it will return next week) as the above should be more than enough to digest. Again be sure to bookmark our NBA Player News page and follow us on twitter @FantasyAlarm @NBADailyLineups and @FantasyNomad so you do not miss any last minute updates as you go about constructing your DFS lineups. Best of luck tonight and my Daily League Picks article will be posting around 5:30pm today.
