We are back at it on a main slate Monday with no early starts. That means we have a little more time to preparation for this nine-game evening slate around Major League Baseball today. As the baseballs hit by Aaron Judge this weekend are put to rest, we’ll take a look at a slate that has some big-name pitchers, stackable offenses and a few value options that we will ride to cash tonight. You won’t see Judge wiht a write-up below, but just know that he’s always a play to keep in mind if you end up with the salary flexibility to get him in there.

Some general themes for today include the fading of Yu Darvish against the Astros. Houston’s offense is just too darn good to trust Yu - no matter how good he has been to this point. That said, I’m not necessarily targeting any of those Astros bats for a similar reason. Vegas really likes Boston to put up some runs tonight against Jerad Eickhoff and the Phillies. The Red Sox have the highest implied run total and it’s not really close. So, you’ll see some of those B’s in here today. Also, if we are going to spend on the top arms like deGrom and Strasburg, we’ll need some of those value options and with Bronson Arroyo getting the start for the Reds, we can find some of them hidden in that usually porous Padres lineup today.

Weather looking good as of early on - the only real threat looks like it can become an issue up in Minnesota. Keep an eye on things in the Weather Center. We’ll also check back before coming out with our optimal lineups around 5:30 PM EST.
