We’re going to be lighting up our barbecue’s this weekend, but nothing’s really going to change when it comes to Saturday, because we’re going to be back in business with another big SPLIT SLATE.

Keep in mind, tomorrow’s split slate is going to be a little different because it’ll feature a big 10 game EARLY slate to go with the smaller five game late slate. Roster lock for the early slate is going to be 1:05 PM ET/10:05 AM PT, while lock for the late slate is going to be 7:15 PM ET/4:15 PM PT. If you’re playing on FanDuel, the early slate will start at 2:10 PM ET/11:10 AM PT.

Generally speaking, I’m going to include two early players and one late player at each position. Still, we’ll have to dig deep for some of these contests, so it’s important to take a look at my DFS MLB Rankings as well.

I’m no weatherman, but it appears that weather isn’t going to be a big issue today, but we’ll probably have to keep an eye on the Northeast games - notably the games in Philadelphia (CIN/PHI) and Washington (SD/WSH). It seems rather mild, but you never know what’ll happen once we get a more accurate forecast.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach me on Twitter at @kle18. I’ll be more than happy to help!

UPDATE: Woke up to hear that the Tigers/White Sox decided to switch starters for Game 1, which means that the dynamic duo of Derek Holland and Buck Farmer are playing Game 2 and not game 1. This is a significant blow to the White Sox, but in terms of Jose Abreu, not so much. He's still 4-for-7 (.571 AVG) with a homer against Michael Fulmer.
