Today’s DFS NHL Playbook will focus on tonight’s seven-game evening slate that has a roster lock of 7:00 PM ET/4:00 PM PT. The odd game that doesn’t exactly fall within the early slate or the late slate is the Red Wings/Blue Jackets contest that starts at 5:00 PM ET.
Even though we are coming off of a short, two-game slate, three of those teams will be in action tonight. These teams include the Tampa Bay Lightning (1-4-4), Winnipeg Jets (4-3-2), and Chicago Blackhawks (6-2-1). And again, each team’s record when playing without rest is listed in parentheses.
Again, like I said before, the playbook is compiled in a way where I’m taking value in consideration. I’m not going to list 25 guys who are priced at over $7k, because it’s unrealistic, and won’t help you much if you’re looking to put together your own lineup. Just because Auston Matthews is absent from the list doesn’t mean I think he’s going to score less points than Brayden Point (for those following closely, you notice how I didn’t list my kryptonite this time).
