Last night went pretty pretty well considering Hunter Renfroe didn’t play, Evan Gattis didn’t play, and I used my lowball lineup in about 20 percent of my DK entries by mistake.

It’s the final weekend of baseball. If you guys haven’t been through this before, you have to be prepared to expect the unexpected.

As we’ve been doing for a few months now, we are completely devoting our attention to the evening slate of games.

Let’s talk motivation. Of the 16 teams playing in tonight’s 8-game slate, the only teams that actually have something to play is the Blue Jays.

With last night’s victory over the Rays, the Rangers clinched home field advantage throughout the playoffs. They will have the #1 seed in the AL regardless of how they perform in the last two games of the season.

There are similar circumstances with the Red Sox where they have now locked the #2 seed in the AL.

Someway, somehow, the Tigers have a chance to make it as a Wild Card. They are just a half game behind with three games left to play compared to two games for both the Orioles and Blue Jays.

To make a long story short, the two teams that have something to playoff tonight are the Blue Jays and Tigers. Keep that in mind. The main issue is that there’s some major rain concerns in Boston tonight.
