We are back at it for some Saturday DFS MLB action. So that obviously means we’re in for a split slate. Here is a breakdown of all of the contests that you need to know about…

DraftKings:

Early Slate: 7 Games (1:10 PM ET Roster Lock + includes KC/PHI at 5:50 PM ET)

Late Slate: 8 Games (7:15 PM ET Roster Lock)

FanDuel:

Early Slate: 7 Games (1:10 PM ET Roster Lock + includes KC/PHI at 5:50 PM ET)

Late Slate: 8 Games (7:15 PM ET Roster Lock)

FantasyAces:

Early Slate: 6 Games (1:10 PM ET Roster Lock without KC/PHI)

Late Slate: 8 Games (7:15 PM ET Roster Lock)

One thing you should keep in mind is that at the time of this writing, the Indians do not have a starter. They used today’s schedule starter, Trevor Bauer, in yesterday’s 19 inning marathon win. Why is that so important? Well, for DraftKings at least, you’ll be able to play ALL the Blue Jays you want at extremely discounted prices. DraftKings uses an algorithm that automatically alters a hitter’s salary depending on how good (or bad) the opposing pitcher is.

As for weather, the forecast right now has rain hitting Busch Stadium in St. Louis around the middle innings. We’ll see if that changes and if we can get a more accurate forecast around roster lock.

If you need more assistance with lineup construction, check out my DFS MLB RankingsPlus, I list my stacks under the Optimal Lineups for our DFS Playbook PRO subscribers.

Definitely check out the new Fantasy Alarm Nation Forums to participate in some fantasy discussion or ask one of our experts a question. If you need to reach me directly, you can do so on Twitter @kle18. Good luck!

UPDATE: Get those Brewers/Cardinals out of your lineup because the weather looks a lot worse than it looked when I wrote my article five hours ago. Overwhelming chance of a rainout in St. Louis.
