We’ve got another Wednesday split slate where we have a 7-game early slate with a 12:10 PM ET roster lock and an 8-game late slate with a 7:05 PM ET roster lock.

After a crazy threat of a rain out after all of the certified meteorologists declared Coors being a safe play, I am quite sick of dealing with the weather, but it’s something we always have to do in order to save ourselves from disaster.

Today, there are just a TON of good options on the early slate and a severe lack of value. While I would love to go down the line and list every single player playing in Coors, I just can’t on a day like today. If you can work it out and be able to fit in more Coors bats, then more power to you. I’m going to mainly highlight the non-Coors plays for the early slate.

Based on my amateur weather research, it does appear that all the games should be in play tomorrow. Still, a weather threat can come out of nowhere, so keep an eye on the appropriate resources to make sure that there isn’t any threats of a delay or rainout.

Side Note: I am not including Aces salaries in the tables today because we had a system issue where it didn’t lay out the salaries for me properly. The salaries are usually a copy/paste situation for me, but I ended up having to look up the FD/DK salaries manually. Sorry, guys.

EARLY SLATE

Russell Martin is an OBP machine against left-handed pitchers and is a reasonable $3400 on FanDuel today.

Willson Contreras will likely be back in the lineup today against Cody Reed of the Reds. Reed has only pitched 10 innings against right-handed hitters, but he is allowing a line of .357/.426/.619 with a .442 wOBA against them this season.

Curt Casali apparently owns David Price’s soul because for as crappy of a hitter Casali is, he just seems to get it done every time he faces him. Casali is 5-for-8 (.625 AVG) with three homers and five RBIs throughout his career against Price.

LATE SLATE

Buster Posey gets a matchup with a returning Sean Manaea who is allowing righties to bat .310/.366/.529 against him this season with seven of his eight home runs allowed.

Wilson Ramos’s FanDuel salary is a joke. He has hits in 11 straight games while maintaining a .343 AVG this season. Easily my favorite value on FanDuel tonight.

Stephen Vogt is such a fundamentally sound hitter for someone at the catcher position. He makes a ton of contact and had a huge game last night, reaching base safely four times while doubling twice.

EARLY SLATE

David Ortiz may be facing a left-handed pitcher in Matt Moore, but he happens to have a lot of success against Moore in their previous meetings. Ortiz is 8-for-20 (.400 AVG) with three homers and eight RBIs against Moore throughout his career.

Hanley Ramirez is working on a 7-game hitting streak, where he has gone 10-for-26 (.385 AVG) with three homers, five walks, seven runs, and six RBIs.

Joey Votto is 3-for-5 (.600 AVG) with a couple home runs in his previous meetings against Kyle Hendricks of the Cubs. With so many expensive plays today, I think Votto is a great value.

LATE SLATE

Jose Abreu is 4-for-11 (.364 AVG) with a homer and a double, lifetime, against Ricky Nolasco of the Twins.

Adrian Gonzalez was my value guy last night thanks to his superb matchup and the fact that he got an opportunity to hit in a stadium where he has been able to put up an OPS that is close to 1.300! Let’s just say it worked out. He filled up the stat sheet and continue to destroy the Brewers at Miller Park.

Billy Butler is a pure BvP play for tonight’s late slate. He faces Jake Peavy, who he has crushed for .444/.500/.722 and three home runs over 40 career plate appearances.

EARLY SLATE

Ian Kinsler has a great history against Wei-Yin Chen from Chen’s time with the Orioles. Kinsler has batted .467/.500/.800 with a homer against Chen throughout his career.

Logan Forsythe has batted .290/.355/.501 with 23 home runs and 76 RBIs over 573 career at-bats against left-handed pitching. Not the best value today, so I’m probably leaning towards using him in GPPs.

Tim Beckham is dirt cheap throughout the industry, which is important because there’s just a ton of high priced plays that we’re in on for the early slate. He should be hitting high up in the order against the lefty, David Price, and it shouldn’t take much for him to reach value.

LATE SLATE

Matt Carpenter has three homers, a triple, and a double over his last three games. He’s locked in right now and has a solid matchup against Edinson Volquez. ‘

Jason Kipnis and the Indians will be looking for their 12th straight victory against a career minor leaguer in Joel De La Cruz. This is a guy who has given up an opponent’s batting average of .287 and a WHIP of 1.49 at Triple-A Gwinnett this season.

Ramiro Pena has quietly put together a streak of three consecutive games of two hits a piece. He is 6-for-13 (.461 AVG) with a double, three runs, and two RBIs over those three games. I also love the matchup against Sean Manaea, who struggles against righties.

EARLY SLATE

Kris Bryant will not be hitting three home runs today, but he does have a decent matchup against the young Cody Reed of the Reds.

Travis Shaw honestly wouldn’t really be on the radar today, but he had an amazing night last night, and happens to be 5-for-7 (.714 AVG) with a homer, double,  and zero strikeouts, lifetime, against Matt Moore of the Rays.

Yangervis Solarte hits in eight of his last nine games, and has gone 12-for-32 (.375 AVG) with two homers, three walks, five runs, and five RBIs.

LATE SLATE

Jose Ramirez will likely get the start at either third base or left field tonight in Atlanta. He is killing it at the plate again, racking up points in a variety of ways.

Adrian Beltre gets a tough matchup against Masahiro Tanaka, but considering he has a 7-game hitting streak and coming off of a big game where he homered while going 3-for-5 at the plate, I think it makes up for it, especially with his great price on both DraftKings and FanDuel.

Anthony Rendon is still $2700 on FanDuel tonight, yet, he has been as productive as anyone on the entire team. He has gone 7-for-15 (.467 AVG) with a triple, double, four runs, four RBIs, and a stolen base over his last four games.

EARLY SLATE

Carlos Correa is in his own class today at shortstop. He has been steaming hot as of late and matches up quite well against the soft-tossing Jered Weaver

Xander Bogaerts also loves him some Matt Moore. The young shortstop has gone 4-for-7 (.571 AVG) with a couple doubles against Moore in their previous meetings.

Javier Baez was a wondrous play last night after he broke open the game with a home run in the 15th inning. We’re going right back with him tonight as he faces a lefty in Cody Reed who has allowed three homers in just 12 innings pitched this season.

LATE SLATE

Francisco Lindor gets that great matchup against Joel De La Cruz, and has a great chance to continue his 4-game hitting streak where he has combined to score seven runs.

Corey Seager is batting .458/.500/.792 with a homer over his last seven games. I talked about Adrian Gonzalez owning the Brewers in Miller Park. Well, who do you think he’s going to be driving in tonight (HINT: Mini-Stack)?

Tim Anderson should probably break $3000 on FanDuel by now, but he’s still at $2500, and still hitting value at a very high rate. He now has a 5-game hitting streak where he has gone 8-for-24 (.333 AVG) with two homers, a double, and six runs scored.

EARLY SLATE

Carlos Gonzalez actually took it personal that Troy Tulowitzki got a standing ovation from the Rockies fans. I guess alienating your former teammates is what happens when you ask to be traded? Well, he’s brought that rage to the batter’s box, because he has homered in each of the last two games against his former teammate.

Mike Trout’s off game brought you 12 FanDuel points last night. He currently has a 6-game hitting streak, where he has gone 14-for-25 (.560 AVG) with three homers, two doubles, eight runs, and five RBIs. He’ll face Dallas Keuchel who he has gone yard against twice in his career..

Adam Jones was my call of the night last night, leading off the game with a home run in his hometown of San Diego. Sadly, he had an underwhelming game beyond that, but he hit the ball hard, and obviously is taking his game to another level at Petco.

Giancarlo Stanton came through last night with an absolute bomb of a home run and also happens to be 6-for-12 (.500 AVG) over his last three games while homering three times over his last seven games. He matches up extremely well with Daniel Norris, and well, I’m going to make a bold call and say he’s taking Norris deep today at Comerica.

Mark Trumbo homered twice off of Christian Friedrich back when he was with the D-Backs.

Ezequiel Carrera can help get you quality exposure to Coors today at a very reasonable price, He has a high OBP this season and isn’t afraid to steal a base or two.

Brandon Barnes has been getting a lot of starts lately, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s back in the lineup today against the Jays. Probably not a good idea to play him in cash on FanDuel with no late swap, but feel free on DraftKings where he is only $3000.

Cameron Maybin has never faced Wei-Yin Chen, but he matches up quite well with him from a PITCHf/x perspective, and has gone 6-for-15 (.400 AVG) from the plate over his last four games.

Travis Jankowski did not get the start last night against Ubaldo Jimenez who he dominated against in Baltimore. Still, he has been getting the bulk of the starts lately, and I’d imagine he’d be back in the leadoff spot today against  Yovani Gallardo

Desmond Jennings, once again, is mainly in play as a value option to help you get those bigger bats in the lineup. He is getting more playing time with the entire Rays starting outfield in the infirmary, and he has been able to take advantage of that playing time. Has a 4-game hitting streak, where he has gone 5-for-14 (.357 AVG) with two homers, a double, four walks, and three RBIs.

LATE SLATE

Bryce Harper is having his best series in quite some time against the Mets. He is 4-for-7 (.541 AVG) with a homer, double, two walks, and a stolen base over the first two games of the series.

Shin-Soo Choo is suddenly expensive on FanDuel but he’s reasonable everywhere else in the industry. He is 13-for-42 (.309 AVG) with two homers, two doubles, eight runs, and two stolen bases over his last 10 games.

Denard Span may have a LvL matchup tonight, but I don’t mind it if it means his price is at $3000 against a weaker lefty like Sean Manaea. Don’t expect much power from Span, but he did hit a homer last night in the Coors-esque game last night against the A’s.

Adam Eaton has scored 10 runs over his last 10 games. With Melky Cabrera likely sitting out tonight, he’ll definitely need to step up and produce with his solid matchup against Ricky Nolasco

Rajai Davis has a decent shot at getting another start tonight after getting the night off against Matt Wisler. Both Tyler Paquin and Lonnie Chisenhall are way too expensive on FanDuel tonight, but I’m probably willing to go with them on the other sites if need be though.

Coco Crisp isn’t as good of a hitter at home, but come on now, he’s facing Jake Peavy and not Madison Bumgarner. He’s a great price on FanDuel (stay away on DK outside of GPPs though) and has a 6-game hitting streak where he has gone 10-for-24 (.417 AVG) with two homers, four doubles, six walks, 10 runs, and eight RBIs.

Max Kepler will get an opportunity to face the one pitcher on Earth and the Milky Way Galaxy who has allowed a home run to Bartolo Colon. Love his price throughout the industry and he has found a bit of a groove over his last 15 games, where he has batted .278/.344/.537 with three home runs. Kepler may be the only Twin I’ve listed in this article, but believe me, it may be a good idea to mix in some more Twins somewhere in your lineup.

Angel Pagan just continues to produce. He is now on a 9-game hitting streak where he has gone 15-for-37 (.405 AVG) with a homer, three doubles, five runs, and 11 RBIs.

Trayce Thompson faced Junior Guerra a few weeks back, and went 2-for-3 with a home and a double. He’s more than likely back in the lineup tonight given the matchup and the fact that Joc Pederson may be out for a little while with a bruised AC joint.

Sean Rodriguez may be more of a platoon player, but you may be surprised to know that he is batting .295/.415/.477 against left-handed pitching this season. He’s probably pricier than you’d expect, but it’s still definitely within reason.
