We’re back at it for another Sunday full of MLB action. While I’ll be doing the usual analysis, it’s still important for everyone to be aware of the main slates on each site. Trust me when I say, you’re going to be better off playing the bigger slates on each site. The bigger the slate, the less variance you’ll have to deal with. The smaller the slate, the more luck is involved.

DraftKings: 11 Games from 1:05 PM ET through 3:35 PM ET (NO COORS)

FanDuel: 11 Games from 1:05 PM ET through 3:35 PM ET (NO COORS)

FantasyAces: 15 Games from 1:05 PM ET through 8:08 PM ET (COORS + KERSHAW)

Obviously, if you’re playing on FantasyAces, the biggest issue is predicting who will be in the lineup for both teams because the odds are pretty slim for the lineups to be out by 1:05 PM ET.

On top of that, we have a ton of top-notch starters taking the hill today, so it should be quite difficult to fit some of the bigger bats if you’re paying up for pitching. The reason why you want to pay up for pitching is simply because pitching tends to be the most predictable position in DFS MLB. Yes, it’s possible for Max Scherzer to lose against the lowly Brewers, but that tends to be a rare occurrence. More often than not, a top of the line starter is going to get you points you expect them to get. On the other hand, you may pay a max salary for Mike Trout, the best hitter in the game, and he may go 0-for-4 with a walk. It may be difficult to pay up for two aces on DraftKings because of how expensive they are, but feel free to experiment. You should, at the very least, have one ace in your DraftKings lineup if you are playing cash.

Weather issues to consider, include, Jays/White Sox with morning rain potentially lasting until late afternoon, Astros/Royals with a chance of thunderstorms towards the middle of the game, Indians/Tigers with a chance of thunderstorms in the latter part of the game, and Nationals/Brewers with enough weather issues that will keep the Miller Park roof closed.

For the late slate, I will only be including one player, at most, for each position in the Playbook. I will include a few extras at pitcher and outfield. If you still need more information, be sure to check out my DFS MLB Rankings.
