Another great night to win prizes playing Daily Fantasy Basketball. Here are some of my insider plays for tonight.  There are a lot of great plays from mid-tier players tonight to free up some money to spend big on 1 or 2 players.

Mid-Tier players

Kenneth Faried PF, Den- In 2014 (6 games) Faried is averaging 15.3 points & 10.1 rebounds. Tonight he faces the Jazz who are brutal vs frontcourt players. He should easily get a double-double vs the Jazz which means he has a chance for 40+ fantasy points tonight.

Jonas Valanciunas C, Tor- Milwaukee is the worst defense vs centers in the league and its not even close. The Bucks have a -9.8 Deff(Defensive efficiency) vs centers (2nd worst is Portland at -3.9). J.V. is in line for a big night while not costing a lot. There are very few quality centers tonight so J.V. is the best for price/production.

D.J. Augustin PG, Chi- Has played 29+ minutes in 3 out of the last 4 games. He is averaging 14.6 points & 9.3 assist in those 3 games. Plus, he has a solid matchup vs the Wizards. Don’t be scared to play him especially since he is dirt cheap on some sites.

Randy Foye SG, Den- He is in all of my lineups because he is cheap (about 10-11% of budget on most sites), has scored 30+ FPTs in 3 straight games with 8 straight games scoring in double figures, and is playing Utah tonight.

Jeff Green SF, Bos- Usually never play Green, so why is tonight different from all other nights?  Well he faces Houston which means it should be a fast pace game andis averaging 18.3 points & 10 rebounds in his last 3 games. His price/production make him a great play tonight.

Kawhi Leonard SF, SAS- Just wanted to mention him because he will see plenty of PT with Danny Green out 4 weeks.

Higher Tier Plays

Joakim Noah C, Chi- Noah has 10+ rebounds in 13 of the last 15 games. He is the safest option at the center position tonight. Dwight Howard is the best option but will obviously cost a lot more.

Ty Lawson PG, Den-The Nuggets blew out Orlando last time out so Lawson’s stats weren’t that good. However, the 5 games before that he averaged 17.6 points, 12.4 assist, & 5 rebounds per game. Those are monster numbers. The Jazz are the worst defensive team vs PG’s so Lawson could easily produce 40+ FPTs tonight.

DeMar DeRozan SG/SF, Tor- Dude has been on tear recently by averaging 24.1 points,5.1 rebounds,5 assist in his last 6 games. Those are elite numbers people as there are only 3 players in the NBA averaging 24+ points, 5+ rebounds, 5+assist on the season (Harden,LBJ, Durant). DeRozan is a lock for 35+ FPTs tonight.
