Typical Sunday in the NBA with a couple of marquee games during the day and five games at night. The playbook will focus on the evening games, but I will talk about some good plays for the day games as well. Russell Westbrook's price tag has shot up to the point that it is hard to roster him and fill out a quality lineup. Therefore, Westbrook is a quality GPP option, but wouldn't roster him in cash games.
The point guard position has a lot of quality options all across the board as Mo Williams, Kyle Lowry, and Reggie Jackson are all good mid-tier options. Mo Williams is on a tear right now, which is why he's my favorite player at the position. Jeremy Lin and Rajon Rondo are solid low-tier options. Really like the idea of using Chris Paul in GPPs because he's going to have a monster game vs Golden State and will be low owned.
The shooting guard position is weak sauce as DeMar DeRozan is the best option at the position, but that is about it. Victor Oladipo's price tag is too high for my liking at the moment. However, if Nikola Vucevic does not play then Oladipo becomes a must-start on all sites. Evan Turner is a safe mid-tier option. Also like Klay Thompson because the Clippers have no one that can guard him. The small forward position doesn't have a lot of quality options either. Gordon Hayward is the best option at the position because he can blow up for a big game and has a floor of 30 fantasy points. Really like Jae Crowder, especially as a number two SF on Fanduel. Mike Dunleavy and Kawhi Leonard are great options for the early slate of games.
The power forward position is loaded tonight as Greg Monroe and Serge Ibaka should have big games tonight. Derrick Favors is a good GPP option because the Nets front court defense is atrocious. Nikola Mirotic is a great mid-tier option for the early slate of games. The center position is a barren wasteland with only a few options worth using at the position. Rudy Gobert will be in a majority of my lineups as he could finish as the top center tonight, but doesn't have the high price tag that Drummond or Al Jefferson have. It is best to spend up at center because the mid-tier and low-tier options are all risky.
