Normally there are a lot of games on a Monday night, but there are only four games on the slate on this Monday. That means that a lot of the higher tier players are going to be heavily owned. Also, this is one of those nights where you play a small percentage of your bankroll because of the small slate of games.
The point guard position actually has quite a bit of quality plays at the position. While I normally don't like playing Patrick Beverley, his price tag is extremely low and he plays heavy minutes. Brandon Jennings is the prototypical boom or bust player because he continues to put up big fantasy numbers despite only playing about 30 minutes a game. The shooting guard position is filled with value plays that should exceed their small price tag. The small forward position is garbage tonight, so save money at the position.
The power forward position is led by Anthony Davis, who gets a stellar matchup vs the Celtics and he has a great chance to put up huge fantasy numbers. Pau Gasol always has a superb matchup, but don't expect a repeat of his last game with Derrick Rose back in the fold, as he'll take plenty of shots away from Gasol. The center position is pretty set in stone as Nikola Vucevic is easily the best play at the position.
