It is a great night for some Daily Fantasy Basketball as DraftKings is hosting plenty of tournaments including the 200K GPP Buzzer Beater while DraftStreet has multiple 6K GPP tournaments going on. Here are the top players you should target tonight.

CHEAP PLAYS FOR TONIGHT

Lou Williams SG, Atl- He should play heavy minutes tonight with Jeff Teague out with an injury. Williams had 12 points, 7 asssist, and 3 rebounds last night while logging 37 minutes. Look for him to repeat the big minutes and approach 30 FPTs.

O.J. Mayo SG, Mil- It is amazing how far he has dropped of this season and for good reason as he is only averaging 12.5 points, 2.4 assist, 2.7 rebounds, & 1.6 3PM per game. However, I love him tonight as he is a meager $5,191 on DraftStreet. He is averaging 17 FPTs (DS scoring) at home and could see an increase of minutes if the “Greek Freak” is out. Great play to free up cash for some higher tier players.

Corey Brewer SF, Min- Another player that started off strong and then dropped off. He has been playing better recently by averaging 33 minutes, 17 points, 2 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 1 block over his last 2 games. The T-Wolves face the Blazers tonight in what should be a very fast pace and high scoring game. Look for to exceed his value ($7,662 on DS) with the potential for 30+FPTs.

MID-TIER VALUES FOR TONIGHT

Marcin Gortat C, Wsh-  He has been playing some great basketball recently by scoring double digit points in 6 straight games while averaging 13.1 points,9.3 rebounds, 2.1 blocks during that span. The Wizards face Utah tonight who are brutal vs centers. Also, the dude so looks like an angry bird: Big nose, long stork-like arms, and bald.

Roy Hibbert C, Ind- Gets another matchup vs a team without a center for the 2nd straight night. Last night he finished with 10 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assist, and 5 blocks. Gortat is cheaper than Hibbert on DK’s, but more expensive than Hibbert at DS. I prefer Gortat tonight, but go with the cheaper option if need be.

Wesley Matthews SG/SF, Por- He plays a tons a minutes (almost 35 min a game this year)and has averaged 22.5 points & 4 assist in the last 2 games. Already talked about this juicy matchup which is why Matthews should drop another 20+ points while knocking down some threes and dishing out some assist.

Gordon Hayward SG/SF, Utah- In his first game back from injury he had 27 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assist, and 3 steals. So many things I like about him tonight such as he is only $6,300 on DraftKings while being priced around $7,000 most of the season which makes him a great value play before his prices rises. Also, He has scored 22 points or more in his last 4 games played. It is a great matchup as Washington is nothing special on defense. He is averaging almost 38 FPTs per game at home so that is another great thing about him. Ha, those are a lot of good reasons to trust Hayward tonight.

Damian Lillard PG, Por- One of his best games of the season came against Minnesota early this season when he had 36 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assist, and 3 steals. Guess who he faces tonight?...The T-Wolves. He is only $14,260 on DS so make sure to get him into your lineups.

EXPENSIVE PLAYS FOR TONIGHT

Kyle Lowry PG/ DeMar DeRozan SG/SF, Tor- Last night, Lowry had a triple-double and Double D had a decent 34 points and 9 rebounds..Ha what more convincing do you need? Tonight, they face the Clippers in what should be a high scoring game (That can be said about every game the Clippers play in). Can’t go wrong with either one tonight as they are priced similarly.

Paul Millsap PF/C, Atl- It seems that I always have him here, but his price has dropped ($16,945 on DS) and he faces Milwaukee tonight. Atlanta literally has 7 active players so Millsap should play 40+ minutes. Not worried about this being his 2nd game in 2 nights because he only played 26 minutes last night as the Spurs blew them out. Millsap has a high floor with a higher ceiling tonight as he could crack 50+ FPTs as he will be the best player on the court.

Blake Griffin PF/ DeAndre Jordan C, LAC- Another combo that is priced high, but both of these guys have the potential to reach 50 FPTs tonight. Toronto sorely lacks competent defensive big men so Griffin and Jordan should thrive.

Kevin Love/LaMarcus Aldridge PF/C- Both are expensive plays and both of them should return value as neither team plays much defense. Think they could each reach 60 FPTs tonight. If I had to choose one it would be Aldridge because Love played last night.
