Week 11 revealed that some players we’ve waiting on for weeks are finally looking healthy and ready to contribute. Hopefully for your season long leagues, it’s not too late! In DFS, there are some new names entering our consciousness as well. Some are rookies that are taking steps forward as the season rolls along and others are veterans finding ways to be useful once more. It’s never a dull moment in the NFL fantasy world and last week proved no different.

Here’s the Snap Count Recap for Week 11:

RUNNING BACKS

Rashad Jennings has started to come on of late. Last Sunday, Jennings played 47 snaps, carried the ball 21 time for 85 yards (plus 5 catches for 44) and a TD. This week he has a cake matchup versus the lowly Browns and considering his recent strong showing you can begin to entertain using him in DFS. This is especially true this week with Ezekiel Elliott, Le'Veon Bell, Robert Kelley, Frank Gore and Theo Riddick all in play on Thanksgiving Day. Thomas Rawls is also immediately viable in all formats after C.J. Prosise left with an injury. Rawls played 40 snaps, rushing for 57 yards on 14 carries. Expect his role to grow significantly this week now as the lone back standing versus Tampa in the rushing game and passing game alike.  Jeremy Hill will also see an increase in volume with Giovani Bernard done. His 29 snaps played should push to around 40 this week. There are two issues at play here though as the Ravens are stingy on defense and Hill tends to fumble the more touches he sees. Proceed with caution.

Don’t look now, but Dion Lewis played 21 snaps last week and this week he faces a weak Jets pass defense. He could be a sleeper as a Draft Kings FLEX play. Wendell Smallwood played 38 saps last week, but don’t expect the Eagles to expose him past that level against Green Bay. With Andrew Luck looking doubtful, Frank Gore could see an uptick in snaps from his usual 40 range. You can also file Chris Ivory under the “volume doesn’t allays equal production” heading as well after his vacant 39 snaps, 17 carries and 39 yads. Doug Martin is officially healthy after playing 60 snaps Sunday. His 24 carries for 63 yards on the ground and 3 catches for 42 yards through the air make him certainly a must start in season long, even against the Seahawks.

WIDE RECEIVERS

It’s time to get Julian Edelman back into ALL lineups. After 67 snaps, 17 targets, 8 catches for 77 yards and a TD, Edelman could be in for a field day against the Jets. His teammate Malcolm Mitchell played 66 snaps and may be a sneaky waiver wire grab for the playoffs. Rishard Matthews continues to dazzle catching 9 of his 13 targets for 122 yards receiving over 65 snaps. Matthews is knocking down the door to WR1 territory as he just keeps on finding the end zone on a weekly basis. On the other side of the Titans attack, Tajae Sharpe also carried over his productive Week 10 to the tune of 4/68 and a TD over 63 snaps.

Brandon LaFell played 69 snaps in A.J. Green’s absence, but caught just 4 of his 9 targets for 32 yards. Tyler Boyd (54 snaps, 6 for 8 with 54 yards) has more upside than LaFell for FAAB purposes. Braxton Miller out did Will Fuller Monday night playing in 66 snaps compared to Fuller’s 41. Miller also caught a TD and may be worth a look if you are desperate for a WR. The Cardinals receiving corps continues to be as mercurial as ever. John Brown caught zero balls over 60 snaps, J.J. Nelson 1 over 30 snaps and Michael Floyd just 2 over 53. If your name isn’t Larry Fitzgerald there’s no telling what your fantasy value is in Arizona’s passing game.

TIGHT ENDS

Everyone wanted Martellus Bennett to step up in Rob Gronkowski’s absence. Well, he played 71 snaps (more than any other TE in Week 11), but caught just 1 ball for 14 yards killing many a daily lineup. Only C.J. Fiedorowicz and Zach Ertz saw double digit targets at the TE spot last week. Of the top 20 snap count leaders at the position, only Ertz, Will Tye, Gary Barnidge and Jimmy Graham scored a TD. Kyle Rudolph disappeared yet again, after teasing yet again last week. He caught just 2 balls for 12 yards over 55 snaps. Tyler Eifert will likely see his volume increase in the absence of A.J. Green. Outside of Travis Kelce’s 7 of 9 for 108 on 44 snaps, it was a quiet week for the position as a whole.
