Point Guards

RANKNAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
1Russell WestbrookOKC2PG is a very deep spot and even though Kemba Walker has a third game, Westbrook stays at the top.
2James HardenHOU2Harden is not too far behind Westbrook when it comes to overall production and as always, it is very hard to take him out of the second spot.
3Kemba WalkerCHA3It's not just you Kemba, Harden and Westbrook are way better than most when it comes to fantasy hoops. Walker will still be one of the highest scorers and assist men of the week.
4John WallWSH2Wall continues to be the back bone of the Wizards flow on offense. We never have to worry about rest with Wall because he is THAT needed on the court.
5Stephen CurryGSW2Curry continues to produce even with Kevin Durant in the lineup. Curry still gets a good chunk of shots and chances to drive the lane. He reads screens off the ball very well.
6Jrue HolidayNO3It will be interesting to see what happens to Holiday's production with the new DeMarcus Cousins addition. Logically, we should expect assists to increase and scoring to drop a bit.
7Isaiah ThomasBOS2Thomas continues to show his big-play ability, especially late in games. Thomas either looks for the immediate cutter, or puts the ball up right after a screen at the top.
8Kyle LowryTOR2Lowry continues to show that he can consistently be a play maker. He has stepped up when DeMar DeRozan has been hurt as a lethal scorer, but he is definitely more balanced this season.
9Damian LillardPOR2Lillard continues to provide most of the offense on the players whether it's scoring or dimes and the Blazers frontcourt is bare.
10Kyrie IrvingCLE2Irving will always have a place in the Cavs offense and is an excellent driver and can extend plays nicely. Minutes down the stretch is the one concern I have.
11Eric BledsoePHX2Just like Lillard, Bledsoe provides most of the offense on a team with not a lot offensive ability in the frontcourt.
12Mike ConleyMEM2Conley has quick hands and that has helped him average over two steals per game and he has improved his shot selection this season and still has big play ability.
13Jeff TeagueIND2Teague gets a ton of time with the ball and he has possessions in which he does not even pass off. He is a good driver and can also hit the knockdown three.
14Goran DragicMIA2Dragic has been shooting better this season and has been able to stay healthy for the most part while the other guards have been in and out of the lineup with health issues.
15George HillUT2Hill will continue to get shots even when Rodney Hood is back in the lineup and he gets time with the ball to create and moves around well on the key.
16Dennis SchroderATL2Schroder has multiple elements to his game and a different Schroder shows up each game. He is the main scorer in some games and very quiet in others. He is finding his form.
17Ricky RubioMIN2Rubio could be on his way out of Minnesota, but if he stays, expect him to benefit from Zach LaVine's injury by picking up more shots per game.
18Emmanuel MudiayDEN3Mudiay has been out with a back injury, but the break seemed to be the cure and he does have a three-game week.
19D'Angelo RussellLAL2Russell has been inconsistent as he is still finding his rhythm and with the departure of Lou Williams, expect him to be shooting a bit more.
20Jeremy LinBKN2Linsanity is apparently ready to go and returns to a miserable Nets team that can use the boost on offense.

Shooting Guards

RANKNAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
1Nicolas BatumCHA3Between the scoring, rebounding and solid perimeter defense, oh yeah, and the frontcourt barely exists on offense, Batum deserves the top spot with the strong slate.
2DeMar DeRozanTOR2DeRozan is bumped from his top spot, but is still the No. 1 fantasy SG consistently.
3Gordon HaywardUT2Hayward deseves all of the accolades that this season has provided him as he has improved his offensive game by not forcing up as many shots and utilizing Rudy Gobert more.
4Wilson ChandlerDEN3Chandler has been sick, but with the rest due to the break, the multi-talented Chandler has a strong slate. WARNING: HE COULD BE TRADED.
5C.J. McCollumPOR2McCollum is the other piece of the Blazers offense and with Mason Plumlee gone, he can only benefit by getting even more time with the ball.
6Bradley BealWSH2Beal has been making better decisions with the ball this season as he has made decisions to drive and shoot quicker and does not get caught up in trying fake out defenders with the ball.
7Klay ThompsonGSW2Thompson continues to get his healthy diet of shots and driving ability from all over the floor. So far, he has proven doubters wrong about Durant taking his shots.
8Dwyane WadeCHI2Wade has been dealing with a sore wrist and he has been sick as well and nobody loves resting more than Wade.
9Patrick BeverleyHOU2Because Beverley is an excellent ball-handler, I do not think his playing time and production will be impacted as much as the other guards with the arrival of Lou Williams
10Gary HarrisDEN3Harris has been shooting well from the elbow and he has been staying healthy. Expect a ton of production with the three game slate and teammates possibly on the move.
11J.J. RedickLAC3With Chris Paul out, Redick will still get a healthy amount of shots per game with the strong slate.
12Avery BradleyBOS2CAUTION: Bradley is coming back from an Achilles injury and it can be easily aggrivated on the court. He's been out for a bit, but we know what he can do on the court.
13Devin BookerPHX2Booker, like McCollum, is the other consistent piece of the Suns offense and if Brandon Knight gets traded, he will get even more playing time moving forward.
14Eric GordonHOU2Gordon's playing time and shots will definitely be impacted with Lou Williams on the team as they both do the same thing and Williams is a slightly better ball handler.
15Victor OladipoOKC2Oladipo remains the Thunder's scoring dependant second option and will always get playing time and shots, but he could do more in other areas to help owners.
16Lou WilliamsHOU2Not an ideal situation for anyone involved, especially Williams who goes to a crowded backcourt in Houston. He will get playing time, but we have to think another Guard is on the move.
17Dion WaitersMIA2Waiters ankle issues seem to be behind him and being back in the lineup at full strength will give Dragic a break and let him be more of the playmaker.
18Wesley MatthewsDAL2Matthews will continue to get time to create on the elbow. He has had a strong shooting season from beyond the arc as the Mavs third option.
19Tyler JohnsonMIA2Johnson's shoulder is better and he will likely see more minutes coming off the bench. He is a strong shooter and driver and can beat second units to the rim easily.
20Kentavious Caldwell-PopeDET2KCP could be on the move, but with Reggie Jackson's horrible shot selection, Coach Van Gundy will have no problem featuring the better shooting KCP on the elbow.

Small Forwards

RANKNAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
1LeBron JamesCLE2SF is the one position in which the three game vs two game slate does not matter as much and LeBron returns to the top spot.
2Kevin DurantGSW2Same old Durant as he was back in OKC. Some thought he would not be as productive, but he fit in instantly.
3Giannis AntetokounmpoMIL2Very impressive season as he produces in every category and the Bucks will need him to play deep into every game with Jabari Parker out for the season.
4Kawhi LeonardSAS2Leonard's perimeter game has stood out all season and even with a healthy Pau Gasol, he will still get a lot of time with the ball and a lot of open perimeter jumpers.
5Jimmy ButlerCHI2It looks like Butler is staying a Bull FOR NOW. Expect top notch perimeter defense and elbow slashing on offense.
6Paul GeorgeIND2George continues to play great team basketball as it is hard to predict when he will score a 30-point game, but he remains a help in all categories.
7Carmelo AnthonyNY2Even though it is unlikely that Melo gets dealt at the deadline, all of this trade talk should not impact his game and mentality as he loves New York and hasn't let these rumors impact him.
8Danilo GallinariDEN3Gallinari has the strong slate, but this groin injury is still very concerning even coming off the break. He could be on a minutes restriction this week.
9Otto PorterWSH2Porter continues to play well on both sides of the ball and it is hard to cross him up at the perimeter. Expect him to get a ton of minutes down the stretch.
10Andrew WigginsMIN2Wiggins will continue to benefit from Zach LaVine being out and even if Ricky Rubio is dealt at the deadline, it could only benefit him even more.
11Harrison BarnesDAL2Barnes has been an excellent scorer and has stepped up big time as Father Time continues to haunt Dirk Nowtizki. He has become the No. 1 scoring option.
12Michael Kidd-GilchristCHA3MKG is not the most talented offensively, but, between his strong perimeter defense and lack of frontcourt, he could provide solid production on both sides this week.
13Jae CrowderBOS2Crowder continues to score mainly by posting up and drawing contact. He will always try to be the enforcer and bang inside and his effort gets rewarded with more plays and minutes.
14Robert CovingtonPHI2Covington has picked up his production since his disaster of a start a few months ago and his rebounding numbers have been going up and he takes more mid range jumpers each game.
15Tobias HarrisDET2Harris is an excellent slasher and because he has one handed moves in the post, he is able to get openings in the middle of the paint.
16Ersan IlyasovaPHI2Ilyasova will continue to get elbow and three-point jumpers as defenders continue to back off and he can also be relied on for long rebounds.
17James JohnsonMIA2Johnson has been the most consistent forward when it comes to rebounding and defense as the Heat have become a solid defensive team and Johnson can score from the post.
18Terrence JonesNO3Between his sore Thumb and the arrival of Boogie Cousins, not ideal for Mr. Jones as his production could drop. The three game slate saves him this week.
19Evan FournierORL2Fournier is STILL the No. 1 shooting option on Orlando and with his foot being healthy, he will be taking a lot of shots off of single screens and will play in the 30's each game.
20Trevor ArizaHOU2Ariza is another Rockets Guard who will be impacted with Lou Williams on the team. Ariza's defense will keep him in games, but he won't get as many shots.

Power Forwards

RANKNAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
1Anthony DavisNO3Will Boogie impact Davis flow on the court and/or offensive production? Love that the Pelicans have a three-game slate.
2Blake GriffinLAC3With Chris Paul out, Griffin will continue to supply the majority of the offense and should be one of the most productive players with the heavy slate.
3Nikola JokicDEN3Jokic has become one of the most dominant big men, especially on offense, as the season has continued and has the strong slate this week.
4Draymond GreenGSW2Green is all the Warriors have when it comes to inside ability and he has better chance of getting double figures in any category except scoring.
5Paul MillsapATL2Millsap continues to be the top option on the Hawks, especially from an offensive standpoint and it looks like he will not be traded at the deadline.
6Kristaps PorzingisNY2I don't think 'Melo will be traded at the deadline, but if he is, Porzingis becomes solely the top scoring option and the team will work around him.
7LaMarcus Aldridge SAS2With Gasol back, Aldridge is relieved a bit of paint duty on offense as he will look to create primarily from the arc and elbow and his production should not drop off.
8Serge IbakaTOR2It will be interesting seeing if Ibaka plays more inside on offense with the Raptors, or if he will take shots away from Jonas Valanciunas. Will be an adjustment.
9Markieff MorrisWSH2Morris has improved his offensive game tremendously this season as he now has mid range and baby jumpers in his arsenal and is very physical on the boards.
10Julius RandleLAL2Randle will continue to control the paint on both sides of the ball. He has been more patient in the post and his offensive numbers should go up a bit with Williams gone.
11Trevor BookerBKN2Booker continues to be the main rebounder for the Nets and he will get a ton of playing time down the stretch and cheap points off of put backs on offense.
12Gorgui DiengMIN2Dieng will continue to show off his baby jumper down the stretch as teams will need to keep more of an eye on Towns and he will be left open every time.
13Zach RandolphMEM2Randolph still gets the job done. His game has always been the same. Huge on the glass on offense and can his mid range jumpers with ease.
14Dirk NowitzkiDAL2Nowitzki has been playing better and deeper into games. Hopefully, the injuries are behind him and he can climb up the fantasy rankings.
15Marvin WilliamsCHA3Williams is the main healthy mid range/inside weapon for the Hornets and can create from the post. Williams is not afraid to take contact and follows his own shots.
16Kenneth FariedDEN3Faried's ankle is still sore, but he should be ready to go and he has the strong slate this week. Be careful!
17Greg MonroeMIL2Somebody has to fill in for Parker's absence and Monroe is a good candidate as the Bucks will likely be stuck with him through the deadline. He has a ton of potential for scoring and rebounding.
18Marcus MorrisDET2Morris continues to slash down the middle of the lane and draw contact. He puts in a ton of effort on the court and creates nicely from the elbow.
19Ryan AndersonHOU2Anderson may lose some shots as well with Lou Williams on the team because he can do so much. Anderson should look to start inside and see if he gets an open angle to the basket.
20Thaddeus YoungIND2Suffering from a wrist injury, unsure of his status this week.

Centers

RANKNAMETeam# GamesAnalysis
1DeMarcus CousinsNO3Will Cousins production take a hit playing alongside Anthony Davis? We will have to wait and see for ourselves. It can work!
2DeAndre JordanLAC3Jordan moves up the rankings with the three-game slate, but always remember that he is instant defense.
3Karl-Anthony TownsMIN2Towns takes the minor hit without the third game and could see some player movement that can only benefit his production.
4Hassan WhitesideMIA2Whiteside continues to carry the Heat on defense and has been excellent at creating from right outside the paint and he takes a ton of contact. The Heat have improved defensively.
5Andre DrummondDET2Drummond continues to be the hardest player to box out and he has been in trade rumors a bit as well. He is an excellent rebounder and not great on offense.
6Rudy GobertUT2Gobert has improved his offensive game a ton this season as he has a lot more confidence when fighting for offensive boards. He has stepped up with Derrick Favors hurt on and off.
7Marc GasolMEM2Gasol continues to create both from the middle of the paint and has been a reliable three-point shooter that has drawn defenders outside.
8Dwight HowardATL2Howard has been playing with a ton more effort as he seems to have found his spot at home in Atlanta. He has been more aggressive going after loose balls.
9Al HorfordBOS2Horford continues to burn defenders from the perimeter and has been excellent at following up his own shots. He does not play too much defense.
10Nikola VucevicORL2Vucevic has excellent footwork and is hard to guard in the post, and could be on the move in the next day or two.
11Mason PlumleeDEN3We will see how many minutes Plumlee gets and whether he will have many plays on offense. For now, we give him the benefit of the doubt with the strong slate.
12Brook LopezBKN2Lopez continues to be the Nets most reliable weapon on offense, but makes no defensive impact and the Nets have lowered their asking price for him.
13Marcin GortatWSH2Gortat continues to cut often and Wall feeds him on the break inside. He does have a small one-handed post game as well that he has been utilizing more.
14Myles TurnerIND2Turner has been moving around on the court well and is a mid range threat off of the pick and will fake the jumper and slash inside.
15Jonas ValanciunasTOR2We will see if Ibaka takes any of his shots away and he may have to resort from producing from the lower block because Ibaka needs space.
16Pau GasolSAS2Gasol is healthy and returns to the lineup in which he will be creating primarily from the elbow. He has been quietly productive this season.
17Cody ZellerCHA3Zeller has the strong slate, but we are unsure regarding the health of his Quad and whether or not he will be limited.
18Frank KaminskyCHA3If Zeller is limited, Frank The Tank benefits the most and he will draw out bigger defenders. Had a nice productive weekend during the World vs U.S. rising stars game.
19Tyson ChandlerPHX2When you invest in Chandler, you are investing in rebounds and blocks and his name has also been brought up in trade rumors.
20Steven AdamsOKC2Adams is gritty and with Enes Kanter still out, he will be even more productive inside and he takes a ton of contact each game.
