There is a common misconception in fantasy sports surrounding filling out your roster when in your draft and that’s filling the blanks. Even though you should always be aware of your depth during your draft, do not fill out your roster feeling pressured that you must address each position one by one in order. Best player available is key and you can make up for lack of depth at a position in the middle of the draft. Some players, as you know, qualify at multiple positions and knowing that going in helps you attain the balance your team needs to succeed.

James Harden and Giannis Antetokounmpo qualify at three positions this season (PG, SG, SF). If you draft them remember that just because your draft software puts them in a certain spot on your roster it does not mean you have to address the other positions. You need to remember the importance of best player available in these cases because you can shift these guys to another position. If you end up with Harden and another PG who dishes a good amount of assists, you’ve got great PG depth.

Here are some of the players you should look at in the middle rounds of your drafts to help you get that balance you need and will serve as a safety net for your depth. These players will help you in multiple fantasy basketball categories. Get these players in your draft queue at right at the start of your draft. The more awareness you have regarding these players, the more balanced your team will be at the end.
