The biggest takeaway from Week 11 in Fantasy Football is that if you missed out on Bobby Rainey this week then you missed out period. Chasing has gotten so out of control in Fantasy that it’s hard to stomach. How many of you reading this picked up and/or started Andre Brown, Rishard Matthews or God forbid Mark Ingram? Well they are exactly what Bobby Rainey will be next week. Timing is everything in Fantasy Football and if you don’t have the guts or the instinct to strike on players before they breakout you will never be an elite player at this game. That may be a difficult realization but it’s the truth. Let’s take a spin around the NFL and recap everything else that happened in Week 11 and other players you shouldn’t chase down in Week 12.

Stevie Johnson was Inactive | T.J. Graham 34 yard TD reception
Robert Woods was Inactive | Frank Summers 3 yard TD run
| Da’Norris Searcy 32 yard INT return for TD | ||||
Notes | |||||
For the 2nd time this year, Geno Smith was benched late in favor of Matt Simms.
The Bills were playing without both Stevie Johnson & Robert Woods today.
Chris Ivory’s stat line is misleading. He had a garbage time 69 yard run without which he was 14-29 yards.
The Bills defense has been coming on more and more of late. They’re pressuring the QB & forcing turnovers.
20 | Baltimore Ravens at Chicago Bears | 23
Name | Stats | Name | Stats | ||

Matt Elam left game with an ankle injury | David Bass 24 yard INT return for TD
| Matt Forte 14 yard TD reception | ||||
Notes | |||||
This game was delayed over 2 hours due to bad weather in Chicago including tornadoes on the ground.
As much as the Ravens ran the ball they should have run a lot more. The Bears Defense is horrible Vs run.
Josh McCown deserves a lot of credit for doing so well & not turning ball over in this weather.
This game is a big reminder that weather always plays a factor in Fantasy Football especially in playoff time.
20 | Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals | 41
Name | Stats | Name | Stats | ||
Jason Campbell | 27-56, 248 yards, 1 TD, 3 INT | Andy Dalton | 13-27, 93 yards, 3 TDs, 2 INT

| Tony Dye 24 yard return of a blocked punt | ||||
| Vontaze Burfict 13 yard fumble return for TD | ||||
Notes | |||||
One of the weirdest games played in a long time. The defenses scored more than the offenses today.
Joe Heden controlled AJ Green today. His 2 early INT’s completely took AJ Green out of this game.
Jordan Cameron’s struggles are directly related to Jason Campbell. He is no longer a top 5 Fantasy TE now.
Willis McGahee should not be owned in any fantasy leagues whatsoever. I’d take a shot on Fozzy Whittaker.
16 | Washington Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles | 24
Name | Stats | Name | Stats | ||
Robert Griffin III | 17-35, 264 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT 10-44 yards rushing | Nick Foles | 17-26, 298 yards 9-47 yards, 1 TD rushing

Jordan Reed left game with a concussion | Darrel Young 62 yard TD reception
Leonard Hankerson left game with a knee injury | Aldrick Robinson 41 yard TD reception
Notes | |||||
RGIII is one of the most overrated players of all time. He simply cannot throw ball against anything but
Prevent defense. Guys like Dalton, Foles, Wilson & Glennon having success and costing a fraction as much.
McCoy briefly left this game due to hamstring issues.
Despite the minimal stat line, Riley Cooper is absolutely a favorite receiver of Nick Foles.
27 | Detroit Lions at Pittsburgh Steelers | 37
Name | Stats | Name | Stats | ||
Matt Stafford | 19-46 362 2TD INT | Ben Roethlisberger | 29-45 367 yards 4 TD 6-12 rushing

Notes | |||||
Heath Miller dropped a 12 yard TD
Detriot went for a fake FG up 27-23 in the 4th quarter which was a huge mistake
Reggie Bush was benched for a good part of the game for fumbling until Bell got hurt
Stafford threw 327 yards in 1st half and 35 in the 2nd one. Calvin had no catches in the 2nd half
28 | Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers | 41

RB Jason Snelling –inactive due to arrest | Vincent Jackson 53 yard reception on a great catch
TE Tony Gonzalez – was able to play | Harry Douglas 80 yard TD reception
Notes | |||||
Rainey took control of the running back spot for the Bucs with some big runs early on
The Atlanta defense is the worst one in the league at this point and can’t stop either the run or the pass
Vincent Jackson with a huge day and two spectacular catches. He is still a WR1 despite some struggles
Matt Ryan was awful once again as Atlanta benefitted greatly from some garbage time production.
27 | Arizona Cardinals at Jacksonville Jaguars | 14
Name | Stats | Name | Stats | ||
Carson Palmer | 30-42 419 yards 2TD | Chad Henne | 27-42 255 yards TD 2INT

DB Justin Bethel - concussion | Larry Fitzgerald 14 yard TD catch
WR Mike Brown – shoulder injury | MJD 1 yard TD score after pass interference in endzone
Notes | |||||
Arizona ran the offense today that we expected to see all season by throwing the ball all over the field
The Jaguars made a point to shut down Ellington today which they did but could not stop the pass
MJD continues to get random touchdowns even though he is doing absolutely nothing throughout the game
Denard Robinson experiment has come and gone as he did not even get a touch
28 | Oakland Raiders at Houston Texans | 23
Name | Stats | Name | Stats | ||

RB Darren McFadden -inactive | Garrett Graham 42 yard TD catch
QB Terrelle Pryor - inactive | Keyshawn Martin 87 yard punt return
Notes | |||||
Keenum was benched in the 3rd quarter for Matt Schaub despite not playing that bad
Andre Johnson and Matt Schaub had a heated exchange at the end of the game after turning the ball back
McGloin looked decent in his first start and would not surprise me to see him getting the next start
McGloin seemed to prefer throwing to Rivera and Streatar which is something to watch if he remains in there
16 | San Diego Chargers at Miami Dolphins | 20
Name | Stats | Name | Stats | ||
Phillip Rivers | 22-34, 298 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT | Ryan Tannehill | 22-35, 268 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT 4-21 yards rushing

Ladarius Green | 4-81 yards | Rishard Matthews | 4-52 yards
Antonio Gates | 4-52 yards, 1 TD | Charles Clay | 6-90 yards, 1 TD

Johnny Patrick left game with a head injury | Antonio Gates 5 yard TD reception
Dimitri Patterson left game with a groin injury | Danile Thomas 1 yard TD run
Keenan Allen left game with a knee injury | Charles Clay 39 yard TD reception
Notes | |||||
Believe it or not both teams had a chance to move into a tie for the final AFC Wild Card Playoff spot today.
I will never understand what Joe Philbin & Mike Sherman’s plan is for their running game. It is a disaster.
If the Chargers are without Keenan Allen for any extended time, their passing game is in grave danger.
Remember when Brian Hartline was drafted in your league? What a complete waste of a pick that was.
20 | San Francisco 49ers at New Orleans Saints | 23
Name | Stats | Name | Stats | ||
Colin Kaepernick | 17-31, 127 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT 3-25 yards rushing | Drew Brees | 30-43, 305 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT

Kendall Hunter | 4-1 yard | Pierre Thomas | 11-49 yards rush 5-35 yards rec
Anquan Boldin | 6-56 yards, 1 TD | Lance Moore | 3-23 yards
Mario Manningham | 1-8 yards | Marques Colston | 5-80 yards

Tarell Brown left game with a rib injury | Anquan Boldin 11 yard TD reception
Mike Iupati left game with a knee injury | Josh Hill 3 yard TD reception
| Vernon Davis 17 yard TD reception | ||||
Notes | |||||
We aren’t used to seeing the Saints play a tough defense at home hence why this output is surprising.
Teams are getting hip to Jimmy Graham and double or triple teaming him on every play limiting his use.
Every time the 49ers throw the ball more than they run they lose the game.
Sproles was taken out of the game late due to a left knee injury but returned later on.
13 | Green Bay Packers at New York Giants | 27
Name | Stats | Name | Stats | ||
Scott Tolzien | 24-34, 339 yards, 3 INT | Eli Manning | 25-35, 279 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT

Jordy Nelson | 8-117 yards | Victor Cruz | 8-110 yards
Jarrett Boykin | 6-91 yards | Hakeem Nicks | 4-50 yards
James Jones | 2-55 yards | Ruben Randle | 3-37 yards, 1 TD
Brandon Bostic | 1-26 yards | Brandon Myers | 3-32 yards
Injuries | Key Plays | ||||
Johnny Jolly left game with a groin injury | Ruben Randle 26 yard TD reception
James Nixon left game with a knee injury | Brandon Jacobs 1 yard TD run
Jason Pierre-Paul left game with a shoulder injury | Jason Pierre-Paul 24 yard INT return for TD
Notes | |||||
It is an embarrassment that the Giants let Brandon Jacobs score that TD instead of Brown.
These are two of the worst defensive backfields in the NFL. Unfortunately I still have 0 faith in Eli Manning.
I do believe that Tolzien can throw for good yardage with more TD’s in this system as long as he starts.
Victor Cruz is absolutely phenomenal and needs the ball in his hands more often for crying out loud Eli!
20 | Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks | 41
Name | Stats | Name | Stats | ||
Christian Ponder | 13-22, 129 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT | Russell Wilson | 13-18, 230 yards, 2 TDs

Toby Gerhart | 7-67 yards | Golden Tate | 1-26 yards
Jarius Wright | 3-69 yards, 2 TD’s | Percy Harvin | 1-17 yards
Cordarrelle Patterson | 3-28 yards | Doug Baldwin | 2-63 yards, 1 TD
John Carlson | 5-69 yards | Zach Miller | 4-69 yards

Greg Jennings was a surprise Inactive today | Walter Thurmond 29 yard INT return for TD
Jermaine Kearse left game with a concussion | M. Lynch TD runs of 1 & 6 yards & 6 yard TD catch
| Jarius Wright TD catches of 21 & 38 yards | ||||
Notes | |||||
I can’t believe that we avoided the Percy Harvin ceremonious TD reception against his former team today.
Ponder was benched in favor of Matt Cassel in the 4th quarter today.
The Seahawks got both LT Russell Okung & RT Breno Giacomini back today for 1st time since September.
Cordarrelle Patterson is a guy who could be a huge asset in the Fantasy Playoffs this season.
17 | Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos | 27
Name | Stats | Name | Stats | ||
Alex Smith | 21-45, 230 yards, 2 TD’s 5-52 yard rushing | Peyton Manning | 24-40, 323 yards, 1 TD
