I barely played any cash games last night and thankfully so. If there is a single trend that is causing my cash game struggles I would say that its just terrible luck. How does Jose Fernandez get blown up at home against the Cardinals? Seems the more obvious a player is the less likely they are to perform at a high level these days. But, thanks to the fabulous Phillies twosome in Maikel Franco and Tommy Joseph, it was another great GPP night last night. Let's keep the train rolling into a huge Friday night in DFS.

There is just one troublesome weather spot and even that isn't too bad. The Astros and Tigers will have a 50% chance of thunderstorms early on but the game absolutely will get in even if there was a delay. Some other notes about tonight's games involve the umpires where the Royals/Rangers (Ron Kulpa), Red Sox/Angels (Mark Ripperger) and Nationals/Giants (Marvin Hudson) all feature a home plate umpire who is quite generous toward pitchers. What this means is that they have very wide strikezones and do not like granting hitters a free pass. John Hirshbeck who is a hitter friendly umpire is behind the plate in Miami where the Cardinals/Marlins go at it tonight.

The places you want to be invested in tonight include:

Blue Jays righties Vs Kevin Gausman

Indians lefties Vs Kendall Graveman

Tigers lefteis Vs Colin McHugh

Cardinals lefties Vs Jose Urena

Rays lefties Vs Ivan Nova

Yankees righties Vs Jake Odorizzi

All Red Sox hitters Vs Tim Lincecum

Dodgers righties Vs Zack Godley

Nationals lefties Vs Jeff Samardzija
