The schedule says that there are 11 games in MLB this evening but if you combed over all of the different stats that I have in order to provide you this Playbook, you wouldn't believe it. There are just not a lot of great options tonight or at least not that many that pop off of the page. But there are a lot of good hitting teams that are in action tonight. So, for me this is once again a GPP only type of setup. I am going to be playing mostly and quite possibly exclusively in tournaments tonight. The pitchers appear to be cut and dry and Jake Arrieata on the hill against his cross town rival White Sox team is a lock for cash or GPP play. Then you have the enormous favorite of Aaron Sanchez and the Blue Jays against the strikeout prone Padres. The most interesting presence taking the hill tonight will be Noah Syndergaard. Sure, he is one of the best pitchers in all of baseball, but he has been very up and down since he was diagnosed with bone chips in his right elbow. Thor is going to be a pure fade for me this evening.

Even though there are 11 games tonight we do have some serious weather concerns that could cause delays or cancellations of a few ballgames. The Rockies/Orioles game has a 30% chance of thunderstorms touching the ballpark. Then the Cardinals/Mets game is showing a 60% chance of thunderstorms throughout the game. Finally, the Tigers/Red Sox could see rain throughout the evening as there is a 40% chance of rain all during that ballgame at Fenway Park.
