Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers--8:20 PM (THURS)Sit--Vernon Davis, TE (SF)Reason--The Seahawks may have given up 13 receptions for 126 yards and a touchdown to the Patriots tight ends last week, but that was the first touchdown they have  given up to opposing tight ends this season. Vernon Davis was only targeted five times in last week’s loss to the Giants and hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 3, so it would be wise to go with a different option in this tough matchup.  Tennessee Titans at Buffalo Bills--1:00 PMStart--Chris Johnson, RB (TEN)Reason--Chris Johnson is coming off of a solid game against a good Steelers defense and is matched up against the Bills this week, who have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season. He has yet to score a rushing touchdown this season, but this week he should end that streak finishing with a good game for his owners. Dallas Cowboys at Carolina Panthers--1:00 PMStart--Felix Jones, RB (DAL)Reason--With Demarco Murray ruled out for Week 7 against the Panthers, Felix Jones is in line to get the bulk of the carries for the Cowboys this weekend. The Panthers have given up a lot of production to opposing running backs this season, including 37, 27 and 25 fantasy points three of their first five games, so this has the making of being a great matchup for Jones. Baltimore Ravens at Houston Texans--1:00 PMSit--Baltimore Ravens Defense/Special TeamsReason--The Texans will come out firing this week after being embarrassed by the Packers at home last week exploiting all the holes left in the Ravens defense after a slew of injuries. The team lost both Ray Lewis and Ladarius Webb for the season last week, which makes an already beatable defense even more vulnerable, so go with a different option here. Cleveland Browns at Indianapolis Colts--1:00 PMStart--Josh Gordon, WR (CLE)Reason--As I wrote in this week’s pickups column, Josh Gordon has now scored three touchdowns in the team’s last two games and has proven he can make big plays once the ball is in his hands. The Colts have given up five touchdowns to opposing wide receivers over the last two weeks, so expect Gordon to be able to make an impact for the third week in a row.Arizona Cardinals at Minnesota Vikings--1:00 PMSit--William Powell, RB (ARI)Reason--I know I touted William Powell last week and he proved he is going to be the team’s main running back until Beanie Wells returns, but this week is a different story. The Vikings have allowed just one 100-yard rusher and one touchdown to opposing running backs through the first six weeks making this is a very unfavorable matchup for Powell this week. New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers--1:00 PMStart--Josh Freeman, QB (TB)Reason--The Saints are coming off of a bye-week, but not even an extra week of practice will help out their horrible defense. This week the Buccaneers, led by Josh Freeman, welcome the Saints to town and despite their issues on offense they have great matchups across the board. The Saints have given up the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks, but that is with a bye-week factored in, so their ranking is actually worse that it may seem. Green Bay Packers at St. Louis Rams--1:00 PMSit--Steven Jackson, RB (STL)Reason--The emergence of Daryl Richardson in the Rams running game has taken a toll on Steven Jackson’s carries and his fantasy production. The Rams appear to be confident in their new time-share system in their backfield, so until Jackson proves he can produce with less carries, he isn’t worth starting, especially against tough defenses. Washington Redskins at New York Giants--1:00 PMStart--Martellus Bennett, TE (NYG)Reason--Martellus Bennett was practically non-existent last week against the 49ers, but this week is a different story as the Giants matchup against the Redskins, who have allowed a touchdown to opposing tight ends in five of their first six games. Eli Manning loves to look for Bennett once in the red zone, so expect him to receive a few targets when they count most as the Giants are expected to score often in this one. New York Jets at New England Patriots--4:25 PMSit--Brandon Lloyd, WR (NE)Reason--Although Brandon Lloyd appears to be healthy after landing hard on his shoulder in the Patriots Week 6 loss to the Seahawks, this week isn’t looking good for him and his owners. Antonio Cromartie has really stepped up his game since the loss of Darrell Revis, and I expect him to do the same against Lloyd this week, especially after he held Reggie Wayne to just five receptions on 10 targets last week. Jacksonville Jaguars at Oakland Raiders--4:25 PMStart--Carson Palmer, QB (OAK)Reason--The Jaguars have allowed two passing touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks in their last three games prior to their bye-week in Week 6 and that was against passing attacks similar to that of the Raiders. Carson Palmer has already put together a few good games this season and considering all the top quarterbacks on bye-weeks this week he is a good start this Sunday. Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals--8:20 PMSit--Rashard Mendenhall, RB (PIT)Reason--The Bengals have given up their fair share on the ground this season, but Rashard Mendenhall is coming off of a game in which he suffered an Achilles’ injury. He is expected to play this week, but he will likely be lacking the burst needed to be successful and all it would take is one hit or one awkward landing to end his day early, so it would be wise to go with a different option this week.  Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears--8:30 PM (MON)Sit--Matthew Stafford, QB (DET)Reason--Despite the fact that Matthew Stafford is coming off of his most productive fantasy week, this week he faces off against the Bears, who have allowed the least amount of fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Stafford has had his problems with the Bears throughout his young career and this week should be no different, so owners may want to explore other options.Week 7 Bye Weeks-- Atlanta Falcons, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, San Diego ChargersTo make setting your Fantasy Football line up easy, be sure to utilize RotoInfo.com’s new NFL Line Up Grids.Matthew Beck is a Fantasy Sports Columnist for Rotoinfo.com.
