The last time I wrote in these pages was last Wednesday, which to me was a turning point for a lot of us this season. Last Wednesday the DFS MLB Playbook, Rankings and Optimal Lineups crushed everything and won a lot of people a lot of money. This season has been very up and down at the start but nights like that are exactly what we play for. Based on Twitter screen shots alone our users took home over $100K on that night alone. Ted and Ken have kept that momentum rolling and I am pumped up to get back after it tonight.

There are only 10 games in MLB tonight as it is a regular travel day for a third of the league. That is still plenty of games for us to make quality cash and GPP lineups but based on the matchups it is going to be harder than we would like. For starters, pitching is atrocious tonight. My top rated starter tonight is Dallas Keuchel who wouldn't have been in the top four of starters any single day since April 21st. Keuchel's home spilts are ultimately what puts him over the likes of Johnny Cueto tonight despite Cueto having throw the ball better so far this year. This is the night that if you have a bead on a value starter you should absolutely follow that instinct.

With no games in Coors Field, Chase Field, Yankee Stadium or Globe Life Park it is going to take much more investigating to find those premium bats this evening. Some of the names in the Playbook today are appearing for the first time this season. You'll also notice that I have encorporated bullpen statistics into the Playbook formula now that we have a full month worth of data.

Here is the DFS MLB Playbook for Monday May 2nd:
