If you create a new account RIGHT now over at DraftKings ($10 minimum) using our link here, you will receive a FREE 2014 Fantasy Alarm Fantasy Football Draft Guide, NFL Assistant GM In-Season Package and our COMPLETE DFS tools for this coming fantasy football season.
Tonight will be the last Fantasy Alarm Daily Show on SiriusXM for this season. Yeah..it pisses me off too but at this point they want to put a football only show into the 5-7 PM EST slot. That means there will be NO MORE daily programming on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio going forward. If this pisses you off enough feel free to file a complaint and let them know that you would like the Fantasy Alarm Show occupying the 5-7 PM EST timeslot on Sirius 210/XM 87. If you don't want to go all formal about it go ahead and post your thoughts on the SXM Facebook Wall.
At this point if you have been follwing along with the DFS Playbook over the last couple of months you will have undoubtedly won some cash. Now we cannot control how much you are flushing away in swinging for the fences in big tournaments nor do we sit and judge. If you want to swing for the big hit, I say go for it. But you have to understand that those are losing ventures and will eventually cause you to have to redeposit to continue playing.
With that said, it has been a real good week for the Playbook and with winning 100% of our double ups yesterday, the Playbook is now in position to take a swing at Atlantis in the DraftKings Fantasy Baseball Championship Qualifier. I say this not to brag but so that you guys understand that I will not play these tournaments very often. I only play in the large scale ones when the Playbook, that is to say my formulas for daily fantasy baseball are running hot which they are right now. So, it doesn't matter if you are playing in a big tourney or a $1 double up tonight, use these players and you will have a strong showing.
Tonight Chris Sale is a must play. He is crazy expensive but he is one of the best pitchers in baseball and has a fantastic matchup against the Twins tonight that cannot be ignored. The good news if you are playing on multiple pitcher sites, the rest of the arms are reasonably priced. If you are looking to stack a couple teams tonight (remember, only stack in TOURNAMENTS!!) I really like the Detroit Tigers and the Cleveland Indians tonight. If you're looking under the radar, the White Sox and the Pirates aren't too shabby either.
Here is the Daily Fantasy Baseball Playbook for Friday August 1st:
If this DFS Playbook isn't enough daily information for you I strongly recommend you check out some of our other DFS Tools as well. We've got: Ray Flowers Daily Trends article, Daily Fantasy Projections & Salaries, Batter Vs. Pitcher data, Weather Report & our entire DFS repertoire. We always welcome suggestions to in order to help us develop the best DFS tools in the fantasy sports industry.
Could you guys not get fantasyalarm.com to pay you guys to do a podcast setting up the day's action, 30/60 mins, that comes up each day around 5PM? You two would have the ability to record whenever you want and not have callers or anything else to mess with.... Speaking of which, where is tonight's playbook!?!?!? haha
Guys, PLEASE remember that Ted & I will still be doing The Fantasy Alarm Show every night Monday-Friday Midnight-2 AM EST. If you can't stay up that late you can always listen to the On Demand (podcast) version whenever you want. Here is a link: http://www.siriusxm.com/ondemand Thanks for all of your support. We'll still be publishing the Playbook every day right here so be sure to check back in...
We still have the night time show so feel free to listen to that and catch us on here, twitter or facebook.
Its BS that they are taking away the FA show. You guys are not only amazing at what you do but you make your show so much fun. I love it when You (Jeff) go nuts on a rant. You and Ted are a great pair and it's a shame. I just wanted to say Thank you. You are not only professionals but are gentlemen. Thank you again to the hosts and producers of the Fantasy Alarm. You will be missed but never forgotten. Till next year.
Good luck tonight in the FBC qualifier, Jeff. Thanks to the playbook, I made it to Day 3 of qualifier #29 tonight after finishing 36th out of 2,500+ and 18th out of 750 the last two days. I really appreciate the help.

@fantasyguy1234 Well T-Rich is consistently average and he's gotten a ton of carries because Colts offense has run the most plays in the NFL
@fantasyguy1234 If you have to drop 1 I would say get rid of T-Rich. Vereen is the best of that group right now
