Melky Cabrera is batting .287 with a .330 OBP. Those are normal levels for him (career: .286 and .338). However, no homers, six RBIs and zero steals have people nervous. Don’t be. As long as he’s healthy he will continue to do what he always does – produce.

Carlos Correa has sick numbers .383/.458/.702, 5 HRs, 25 RBIs, 21 runs, 11 SBs in 23 games. I can’t see him being called up before the All-Star break, but you never know.

Alex Guerrero has one hit in his last 12 at-bats.

Josh Harrison isn’t starting Tuesday for the Pirates. He stinks. Josh is batting .188 with a .533 OPS through 23 games. He’s also 0-for-1 in steal attempts. I warned about potential struggles in his Player Profile.

Greg Holland should return to action Wednesday from his pectoral issue. He might have an outing or two not in the 9th inning, but by the end of the week he’ll likely be back to rocking and rolling. Wade Davis will continue to maintain value in mixed leagues. That’s what happens when you strike out 10 guys per nine and never walk anyone (one walk in 10 innings). He hasn’t allowed a homer in 81 outings dating back to the start of last season.

Devin Mesoraco – utter disaster. It’s worse than we thought actually. He still hasn’t even tried to squat yet. Think about that for a moment. Really think about it. He last started on April 11th and hasn’t been placed on the DL. The Reds are the dumbest… A Tweet from John Fay notes that Devin would likely miss four months if he needed to have surgery on his hip. That would obviously cost him the entire 2015 season. What a mess.

Dalton Pompey was sent to Triple-A a few days back with a .601 OPS over 23 games. Meanwhile, Kevin Pillar is still with the Blue Jays through 27 games with a .712 OPS. He’s only take three walks but he does have five steals, 15 runs and 14 RBIs. He’s a solid AL-only play, but I still hesitate in mixed leagues to trust him.

Hanley Ramirez had an MRI on his shoulder, and the report is very positive (here’s the tape). Shockingly. The MRI came back clean on his shoulder and there is growing optimism in Boston that he will be able to avoid the DL and return to action in a few days. To say that he’s been mashing in the early going is an understatement given that he’s on pace for 60 homers, 130 RBIs and 100 runs scored. Let’s hope this early optimism is warranted given the ongoing issues HanRam always has physically.

Michael Saunders had fluid drained from his knee and now he’s missing his second straight game. He shouldn’t have to hit the DL but there are obvious concerns. Hard to trust him to run when healthy, but he does have some pop.

Nick Swisher is back from his knee woes. I only care if I’m in an AL-only league.

Chase Utley will be held out of the lineup for today, tomorrow and there is an off-day for the Phillies Thursday. He will return to action Friday. He’s healthy but stinks. In 25 games his slash line is putrid (.103/.182/.207). Rebound has to be coming. He’s just too talented despite advancing age.

David Wright sounds like he’s about 10-14 days away from returning from his hamstring issue. He will begin running the bases Thursday.
