Draft Guides, hot models, players searching for teams, relative young players folks have given up on... it's all there in Ray's look at the world of baseball as the calender nears the flip to 2015.

Norichika Aoki is still looking for a home. Reports suggest that the Orioles might be kicking the tires on Aoki, a limited if stable player. He's hit between .285-.288 in his three seasons which is truly remarkable. His OBP has been .355, .356 and .349. Guys just don't do that. He's also stolen between 17-30 bases each year. He turns 33 in about a week and has hit a total of 19 homers with 130 RBIs over three years, but he still has his uses.

Asdrubal Cabrera, Stephen Drew & Colby Rasmus - pick a team.

Rusney Castillo - I can hear the hype train leaving the station. The Cuban outfielder of the Red Sox is 27 years old and has an intriguing power/speed combo. The closer we get to Opening Day the more you will be hearing about him. Speaking of the Sox outfield, did MLB change the rules so you can start five guys out there? These are the names that currently are laying claim to playing time in the Sox outfield: Mookie Betts, Jackie Bradley, Castillo, Allen Craig, Brock Holt, Daniel Nava, Hanley Ramirez and Shane Victorino. Trades are a coming one would think.

We just completed our Mock Draft for the 2015 Fantasy Alarm Draft Guide. I think Jose Abreu in the first round was an awful selection, but I wasn't surprised Kershaw went in the first round. I can't wait for you to see the Guide (it will also be released in magazine form this season, hopefully the first week of February).

Jason Heyward will likely hit second in the Cardinals order behind Matt Carpenter. It's hardly surprising that Carpenter regressed from his monstrous 2013, but it's not like his fantasy line was disappointing (.272-8-59-99-5). Those aren't very good numbers for a guy who is only third base eligible in 2015. As for Heyward, he is still an immense talent. When he deems himself physically well enough to play - he's certainly earning a reputation for being "soft" - Jason can get 'er done. He plays impressive defense, has a lot of speed for a man his size (6'5", 245 lbs) and the ball makes a different sound when it comes off his bat. The guy went 20/20 in 2012, is just 25 years old, and is coming off the best BB/K ratio of four the last four seasons (0.68). A nice target on draft day.

Shawn Kelley has been dealt to the Padres for Johnny Barbato, a 22 year old who pitched at Double-A last year. Kelley won't be close to the 9th inning in San Diego but over the last two seasons, in the AL East mind you, he's struck out 138 batters in 105 innings, good enough for an 11.83 K/9 mark. A solid target in NL-only leagues.

Is it OK for me to say I'm glad the 2014 Fantasy Football season is over? Look it pays the bills, and I could be doing about 37 million other jobs that are way worse, but I miss my baseball. I also don't enjoy getting up at 630 AM every Sunday for start/sit questions. I mean, how is the Oracle supposed to go out and rock the town Saturday night if he has to get up that early? I mean, I usually don't get in until 3 AM which means I may, just may, have been a bit tipsy while giving some advice this season. Ah no way, I'm too professional for that.

Max Scherzer - pick a team.

Did I ever tell you how I met Nikki Leigh at an event at the Playboy Mansion a few months back? One word - gorgeous. Another word - enthralling. Yes, Ray is a fan.
