We're in Week 7 of the football season. Some players have overperformed. Other underperformed. Still others are performing in a way that is below the radar. Ray Flowers surveys all the numbers, sifting through the data to let you know what you need to know while trying to establish the value of players in your mind.

THROWERS

Tom Brady, finally, got it done. In Week 6 he found his long lost deep ball. On passes of more than 10 yards he completed 7-of-11 for 201 yards. Not deep enough you say? How about 3-for-4 on passes of 20+ yards in the air. Two of the completions went for scores. He also had a QB Rating of 151.3 when he was given a clean pocket to throw from.

Kirk Cousins stinks right now as an NFL quarterback. He's been an excellent fantasy QB though. (1) In five games he's hit 250 yards each time out. Overall he's averaging 314 yards a contest. (2) In four of five games he's thrown for multiple scores. A 16 game season at his current pace would equate to 32 scores. The eight interceptions are awful, but 5,024 yards and 32 scores are his 16 game pace. Repeat that to yourself before you go bashing him.

Joe Flacco had five scores in Week 6. Don't get too excited. He had seven in his first five games this season.

Nick Foles, Mike Glennon or Ryan Tannehill? Seriously. Compare per game.

N. Foles: 59.5 Comp%, 1.67 TDs, 1.2 INTs, 271 yards
Glennon: 57.0 Comp%, 1.75 TDs, .75 INTs, 247 yards
Tannehill: 60.8 Comp%, 1.6 TDs, 1.00 INTs, 229 yards

Foles has been a huge disappointment (he's also lost three fumbles as an outright turnover machine).

Brian Hoyer completed 5-of-6 passes that were in the air for at least 20 yards for 179 yards an a score. His season long YPA mark 8.3, the 4th best mark among QBs who have appeared in four games. Still, his total of 244.8 yards passing per game is just 20th in the league.

Ben Roethlisberger had a disappointing Week 6 effort. He's on pace for 4,200 yards and 21 scores. "But Ray, I need more than that." You certainly might in order to win your fantasy football league. However, do you know how many times Big Ben has gone 4,200/21 in his career? Try just twice.

People are frustrated with Matt Ryan. Why? He's on pace for 4,900 yards and 32 scores. Do you know how many QBs hit both those levels last season? Two. Peyton Manning and Drew Brees. Oh, and before you bash him for Week 6 note that he completed 26 of 32 passes there weren't dropped, thrown away or batted down at the line of scrimmage.

Matthew Stafford is on pace for 4,200 yards and 19 scores. Those numbers would be a massive disappointment given expectations. Blame an injured backfield, a tight end who hasn't stepped up yet, and obviously the loss of the best wideout in football. Two positives. His 62.3 completion percent would be the second best mark of his career. After averaging 17 interceptions the last three seasons he's on pace to toss 11 this year.

Russell Wilson was a star in Week 5. This week he stunk. Overall he's been the same, moderate passing option in the fantasy game. Compare.

2014: QB Rating 99.7, 66.2 Comp%, 196 yards, 1.6 TDs a game
Career: QB Rating 100.5, 64.0 Comp%, 1.6 TDs a game

He's thrown less passes than Mike Glennon (142 to 139).
He's completed less passes than Blake Bortles (97 to 92).
He's averaging less yards per game than Charlie Whitehurst (201.3 to 195.6).
He has the same TD mark as Derek Carr (eight).

RUNNERS

Le'Veon Bell is second in the NFL with 542 rushing yards, 90.3 yards a contest. That would equate to 1,445 yards over 16 games. He has only one rushing score this season. Antone Smith has 13 carries this season. He's scored twice.

The Bills are morons. There, I said it (if I'm going to call out fantasy players for making bad decisions I might as well call out the clubs as well). They don't know how to use C.J. Spiller. At all. It's embarrassing. In Week 6 they simply threw their hands up after his fumble and simply didn't even get him on the field. He appeared on 12 of 69 snaps, a 17.3 percent rate, that is less than half the 40 percent mark he saw through Week 5.

Justin Forsett is averaging an incredible 6.4 yards per carry. That's 1.5 yards more than DeMarco Murray. How in the hell is Forsett 5th in football in rushing yards? His YPC mark is why.

Arian Foster leads the NFL with 266 rushing yards the past two weeks. That's literally double the 133 rushing yards of Marshawn Lynch. Foster also leads all runners with four scores. That's the same total as Murray (1), Ellington (1), Fred Jackson (1) and Lamar Miller (1).

Matt Forte has 46 receptions this season. Darren Sproles (16), Andre Ellington (19) and Dexter McCluster (11) have the same total of receptions. Moreover, Forte has 14 first downs as a pass catcher. Marshawn Lynch has 14 receptions on the year.

Chris Ivory - the best runner in football? According to Pro Football Focus Ivory leads football in Elusive Rating which attempts to describe how a running back does irrespective of blocking. I know, right?

LeSean McCoy looked like his old self in Week 6. He have five carries of at least 15-yards. He had only four such carries through five games. The only runner with more runs of 15-yards this season? Of course it's DeMarco Murray (13 to 9). By the way, were you aware that McCoy is now 4th in football in rushing yards? His 3.6 YPC mark though makes him the only man in football with more than 350-yards with a carry average under four.

Jerick McKinnon... wait, hasn't someone here at FantasyAlarm, besides Jeff Mans of course, been saying Jerick was the guy you wanted to own in the Vikings backfield and not Matt Asiata? In Week 67 McKinnon carried the ball 17 times. Asiata was only on the field for 15 snaps.

This isn't classy, but it's still amazing.

Lamar Miller is once again the guy as Knowshon Moreno is done for the year with a knee injury. Miller has yet to carry the ball more than 15 times in a game, but he's averaged an impressive 5.2 YPC and he's been used heavily at the goaline line. In case you hadn't noticed he's scored three times in two games.

Stevan Ridley is done for the year after tearing up his knee. Did you know that he has accounted for 52 percent of the rushing yards for the Patriots this season? Only 11 other runners have a higher percentage. Speaking of the Pats... Shane Vereen has 216 rushing yards, 10 less than Matt Asiata for goodness sakes. Going back to the start of last season, 14 games worth of action, Vereen has run for 422 yards and two scores while catching 65 passes for 541 yards and three scores. Are you impressed?

RECEIVERS

No player in football has more than the seven receptions of Randall Cobb inside the 10-yard line. Julius Thomas is second with six such receptions and Ahmad Bradshaw has five. There are your WR, TE and RB leaders.

I've got a guy who keeps getting on me cause I said to move on from Malcom Floyd. Guess what, I'm still saying it. I don't know why anyone would be overly excited about 45 receptions, 964 yards and eight touchdowns. First, he's always hurt. His last season of 16 games was 2009. Second, 45 receptions - really? Third, he's on pace for eight scores but he has only eight touchdowns over his last 22 games  played.

Percy Harvin leads wideouts by converting 84.6 percent of the passes thrown his way into first downs. Still, how could you have any confidence in starting him? He has 22 receptions. That's less than Markus Wheaton (24). He has 133 receiving yards. That's less than Mike Williams (142). He has scored, well he doesn't have a score as a receiver.

T.Y. Hilton leads football, in a traditional PPR setup, in fantasy points the last three weeks at the wide receiver position. He has 0.2 points more than Jordy Nelson who in turn has 1.1 more points than Demaryius Thomas

Andre Holmes went for 121 yards and two scores in Week 6. He led Raiders' wideouts with one more snap than James Jones (48 to 47). Holmes has seen a rather impressive 20 targets the past two weeks.

Vincent Jackson (35) and Jeremy Maclin (33) are the only wideouts in football with more than 25 passes thrown their way that haven't resulted in a reception.

Travis Kelce and Andre Roberts have turned 17 of their 20 receptions into first downs. That 85.0 percent mark leads football. Speaking of Kelce, he's averaging 9.1 yards after the catch, the best mark amongst tight ends with at least 10 receptions. Perspective. Larry Donnell is averaging 9.3 yards a reception this season.

Brian Quick caught one pass for 10 yards in Week 6. He's caught a total of eight balls the last three weeks. Cecil Shorts caught 10 balls in Week 6. Speaking of Shorts, here are his total over his last 16 games. Note, many of the games didn't include four quarters as he's seemingly always coming out of games with leg issues: 83 receptions, 940 yards and four scores.

Eddie Royal has five receiving scores, the same number as Antonio Brown, Brandon Marshall and Jordy Nelson. That trio has averaged 36 receptions a piece. Royal has 22. His five scores also tied the second best mark of his previous six seasons. This year he has averaged a TD catch every 4.4 receptions. For his career the mark is one every 13.0. You really think he's going to keep that up, three times normal? More? He's on pace for 59 receptions and 867 yards. How exciting.

Golden Tate was awful in Week 6 as he lost his run of 5-50 games to start his Lions career. Tate dropped two passes, the first time in his career he's dropped multiple passes in the same game. He's dropped three balls the last two weeks. He dropped only seven passes his first four years in the NFL.

Demaryius Thomas had 350 yards in two October games. That's more yards than Brandon Marshall (157) and Dez Bryant (148) who have each played two games. Thomas is also the only wideout to have three scores the last two weeks.

Julius Thomas has four scores... the last two weeks. He's currently on pace for 29 scores. Add together the best season efforts of Rob Gronkowski (17) and Antonio Gates (13) and you only get one more - 30.

Delanie Walker is averaging 70.2 yards a game, behind only the 75.2 of Jimmy Graham at the tight end spot. Over his first seven NFL seasons Walker had only one season of even half that mark - 38.1 last season. Think about that. Can he keep up his current pace?

Reggie Wayne and Andre Johnson are the only players in football who have 400-yards receiving but not a single reception of 30-yards. They are both on pace for 1,117 yards.
