It’s already Week 14. Can you believe it? It feels like just yesterday I was prepping for the fantasy football draft season, as well as trying to capture a fantasy baseball championship. It feels like just yesterday that I was warning people about Cam Newton this year—which I’ve been right so far—but also the fact that drafting Ezekiel Elliott in the first round would be risky. Yikes. Anyway, here were are at Week 14 and for the purposes of this piece, we are only going to talk about the great plays in Week 14. Fantasy playoffs have likely started in your league, so it’s more important than ever to putting the best lineup out on the fantasy gridiron.

Here are the top 5 quarterbacks for Week 14 of the NFL season.

Tom Brady, vs. BAL

Brady has an exceptionable 19:1 TD/INT ratio, but Baltimore’s stingy defense will pose a challenge on Monday Night Football this week. The Ravens’ 14 interceptions are tied for second-most in the league, but come on, it’s Brady in Foxborough. Don’t get cute, play him and be confident that he puts up QB1 numbers.

Russell Wilson @ GB

Green Bay has allowed the ninth-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season and Wilson has been playing good football of late, save for a Week 12 date with the Buccaneers. If you take out that Week 12 dud, Wilson has put up 15 or more fantasy points in each of his last four games, not to mention going over 20 points three times. He’s easily a QB1 this week.

Andrew Luck vs. HOU

Luck torched the Jets last night for 278 yards and four scores. Hell, if the Jets had any sort of an offense and kept up with the Colts, Luck would have thrown for even more. Luck faces the Texans this week and while it doesn’t look like a great matchup on paper, Houston has struggled against quarterbacks of late and the Indianapolis gunslinger put up 23 fantasy points against the Texans back in Week 6.

Matt Ryan @ LA

Sure, Ryan has thrown under 300 yards in all but one of his last six games, but during that span he’s tossed 12 touchdowns to just four interceptions. The Rams have allowed eight passing touchdowns and the 12th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks over the last four weeks, making Ryan a legitimate QB1 yet again.

Matthew Stafford vs. CHI

Stafford threw for 341 yards against the Saints last week, marking the first time since Week 3 that he accrued 300 passing yards. The Bears defense isn’t nearly as bad as New Orleans, but by no means are they an impenetrable brick wall. Stafford struggled in Week 4 against this defense, but seeing as he hasn’t turned the ball over in three weeks, I like his chances this week.
