Getting a good defense with some upside is the way to go. Seasonal or DFS, a good, reliable, consistent defense is key if you ask me. This week’s top 5 defenses feature some teams who have the ability to go the extra mile in Week 4. Whether it’s a bunch of sacks, some turnover potential, or a touchdown, there is something tantalizing about these defensive units that you need to consider when setting your lineup.

Here are the top 5 defensive units for Week 4 of the NFL season.

Arizona Cardinals vs. LA

Outside of Todd Gurley, these offense is lackluster at best. Case Keenum struggles to move the ball around, so Arizona will likely load the box and contain Gurley. They are going to force Keenum to try to beat them, which will probably end in multiple interceptions for this defensive unit. Expect a bounce back week for this unit.

Denver Broncos @ TB

Winston has thrown six interceptions this season and Denver’s defense is going to give him fits. Denver has held quarterbacks like Cam Newton and Andrew Luck to just one passing touchdown, while keeping the point totals down. Expect at least two picks from Winston in this one.

Houston Texans vs. TEN

J.J. Watt is on injured reserve, yes, but that doesn’t mean this defense is horrible all of a sudden. They still have Jadeveon Clowney, John Simon, Whitney Mercilus and that secondary. Also, Brian Cushing may be coming back for the contest. Houston is still a top defensive unit.

Minnesota Vikings vs. NYG

The Vikings have forced at least three turnovers in every game this season, as well as scoring three touchdowns total. This is a complete defensive unit and Eli Manning might be running for his life. The running game will struggle and the Giants offense as a whole is in trouble on Monday night.

Seattle Seahawks @ NYJ

Did you see Ryan Fitzpatrick last week? Six interceptions! Seattle’s defense is better than Kansas City’s, so it could be another rough week for Fitzmagic. I’m not saying he’ll throw six interceptions, but a couple picks are definitely a possibility.
