Only four days left of the MLB season, and we have the last shorter slate of the season with only eight games taking place tonight.  The Cubs officially clinched the division last night, and on the other side, the Angels were officially eliminated.  For sure, the Cubs will be resting their starters tonight, and will have to wait to see who Maddon places in the lineup tonight.  The Angels may still roll out their starters, but tonight is the perfect rest day for them heading into a final series at home in front of their fans.  The Yankees are three games behind the Red Sox with four left two play, and the Cardinals are in a must win situation tonight or are eliminated.  They were eliminated on the final day of the season last year.

The rest of the slate pretty much features teams that don't have much left to play for this year.  Similar to earlier this week, we will have to wait for lineups to be confirmed to see what the slate brings us.  The playbook provides an overall look at tonight's slate.  Please feel free to use the forums to share your thoughts, and ask any questions.  Good luck!
