Hitters ----

Play of the Day: Aaron Judge-- Judge hit a bomb last night for his league-leading 37th homer this season, and faces the lefty Steven Matz tonight.  He’s now gone deep in two of his last three games, and is priced outside the top-10 OF spots tonight in a small slate. Matz’s two earned runs allowed last start was the first time over his last eight starts that he allowed less than three runs.

Top Play: Joey Gallo-- Gallo went deep once again last night for the third-straight game. Over his last 10 games he has six homers, two doubles, and a single. The Rangers have the highest projected run total tonight vs. Lopez and the White Sox, so feel free to ride Gallo’s hot streak.

Top Play: Ryan Zimmerman- The Nationals make the trip to San Diego today to face Jhoulys Chacin, who does pitch better at home. Zimmerman is 6--for-18, with two home runs off of him in his career, and he has gone deep in two of his last three games. Zimmerman is batting .324 with seven XBH over his last 10 games.

Value Play: Nomar Mazara- -Mazara went 3-for-5, with a homer last night in the Rangers' hit parade, and is batting .481 over his last seven games.  This includes three games where Mazara recorded three hits. The Rangers had 55 baserunners over their last three games, and are projected to do even more damage tonight.

Pitchers ----

Play of the Day:  Luis Severino-- With only five games for tonight’s main slate, Luis Severino checks in as the top pitching option tonight. He is the largest favorite of the night, while the Mets have the lowest projected run toal. Severino is coming off his worst start of the season, allowing eight earned runs vs. the Red Sox. Before that start though, Severino only allowed six earned runs over his previous six starts, going 4-0, with a 1.36 ERA.

Top Play: Aaron Nola-- The underdog Nola will cost you more than counterpart tonight, but he has been one of the hottest pitchers in the second half. His 1.85 ERA over six starts since the break is good for third in the league, and Nola has allowed only 13 earned runs over his past 10 starts.

Pivot Play: Jeff Samardzija-- Samardzija is the slight favorite over Aaron Nola tonight in the matchup of the two worst teams in the N.L.  He has been pitching well lately, with a 3.29 ERA over his last four starts, but has allowed at least three earned runs in six of his last seven starts. The Phillies have hit him well, as Samardzija is 1-4, with a 8.67 ERA in 10 games vs. Philly (4 starts).

GPP Play Tyson Ross-- With some early weather concerns in Pitt tonight, I’ll look to Chacin or Ross as a GPP flier tonight.  Ross has lasted less than six innings in seven of his eight starts this year, and has allowed 15 earned runs over his last three. The Sox have been hitting the long ball, but had a very late flight after losing on a walkoff last night, and could be a little tired today. Ross is 3-0, with a 2.95 ERA in three starts and a relief appearance vs. the Sox over his career.
