Only one of the Week 1 Monday night games -- Los Angeles Chargers at Denver Broncos -- is in play for the short slate DFS contests which pairs it up with the Week 2 Thursday night game which is the Houston Texans at Cincinnati Bengals. I'm not a huge fan of playing the shorts slates and usually just stick to the GPP contests due to the limited number of players from which to choose. Proper cash game roster construction should mean a whole lot of overlap and similar, if not exact, lineups by many.
That being said, here are my suggested lineups for the short-slate GPP contests and yes, a complete fade of the Bengals. Their offensive line sucks, their defense has issues and this Houstion defense got punked by the Jaguars this past week and is looking to exact some revenge.
