So, your season long league is now over and you’re on the outside looking in at the rest of the playoff teams. It’s time to turn your full attention to DFS or perhaps give it a try for the first time. There’s still plenty of football left to be played and money to be won. You can either whine and cry about your myriad of injuries and .5 point losses, or you can your big boy (or girl) pants on and hit it hard for the next few weeks. You may even be able to offset some of your season long league losses with the help of the FA team!

With Earl Thomas out, Aaron Rodgers is begging to be owned across the board and perhaps the best Rodgers LU will indeed win most major tournaments this week. The Packers still have no running game to speak of and the Seahawks are much more human on the road. Colin Kaepernick is not for the faint of heart this week after his benching in Chicago. However, the Jets and his salary make him relevant yet again if you have the stones to start him. Matt Ryan may appear to be an easy cash game start, but for $700 less, I’d pivot to Kirk Cousins. The Eagles have plummeted back down to Earth after their hot start to the year and Cousins has been one of the more underrated fantasy QB’s all year long.

Andy Dalton will no doubt be a trendy pick this week against the lowly Browns. His minimal add-on rushing yards are also a plus to his usual steady floor. However, in terms of return on investment Dalton is about average if he plays to his regular level of production. In fact, should the Bengals get an early lead, Dalton may even see less opportunities as the games goes on Sunday. That makes him a better cash game QB, than a tournament play. Eli Manning has topped 20 FPPG just twice all year. Despite the fact Manning historically plays up to his competition and the Cowboys secondary has fallen off dramatically in Morris Claiborne’s absence, his return on investment potential is tenuous in Week 14. Matthew Stafford is overpriced based on his matchup. The last time he played the Bears this year, they held him to just 10 points.

BLACK BOOK LINEUP WEEK 14

QB Kirk Cousins $7.6K

Cousins has been the unsung fantasy QB hero of 2016 and he should be able to reach 3x salary at this price versus the Eagles.

RB Ezekiel Elliott DAL $8.5K, DeMarco Murray TEN $7.9K

I don’t care what the run defense rank of the Giants is, Elliott and the Cowboys know how important this game is and he will literally carry them to a win. Murray has a great matchup against the Broncos bottom rung rush defense. Both should be locks for at least a TD a piece.

WR Dez Bryant DAL $7.8K, Jordy Nelson GB $7.1K, Jamison Crowder WAS $6.4

The Giants have no answer for Dez Bryant in the secondary and with Jason Pierre-Paul out, they’ll also have trouble putting pressure on Dak Prescott. Nelson is the NFL leader in red zone targets and TD’s. Crowder has hit double digits ½ PPR point 8 straight weeks. That’s consistency worthy of an investment and he carries significant upside as well.

TE Zach Ertz PHI $5.7

Ertz has had some very large target volume lately and will also be a presence in the red zone.

K Matt Prater DET $4.9K

In the dome, and the Lions may have to settle for some FG’s against the Bears.

D/ST Buccaneers $4.1K

Michael Thomas and Mark Ingram are in question and the Bucs D has played quite well of late.
