The fog which may develop in the second half of tonight's game concerns me, as this will interfere with the ability of both teams to stretch the field with the mid to long range pass.  At east the temperatures will be pleasant, and the wind will not be a factor.  In fact, a bit more breeze may have helped to avoid the fog, but you can never get everything you want...and if you did, where would you put it?

By the way, Ice Pellets in Baltimore, Cincy, New Jersey and DC?  Ice Pellets?  Let's hope the forecasts get better by the weekend.

Update:  Still some ice pellet warnings in the forecasts.  Not so sure I would want to watch a game where the sky was raining pellets of ice, but that is part of what we love about football.  For example, Green Bay will be frozen tundra, for sure on Sunday.  Without Aaron Rodgers, I don't see this as a great help for the Packers, as it would usually be.  Wind does not become a concern until Monday night, but I have a feeling both McCown and Romo will overcome any problems the breezy conditions may pose.

Since I have no great familiarity with ice pellets, I cannot tell you what effect this weather anomaly will have on the games in Baltimore, Cincy, Pittsburgh and DC.  But I am going to expect it will not improve the teams' performances.  Just a warning.
