Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars--8:20 PM (THURS)Start--Vick Ballard, RB (IND) Reason--With Donald Brown likely to miss Thursday night’s game against the Jaguars making Vick Ballard a must-start in his absence. The Jaguar have given up the third-most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season including 151 yards and four touchdowns to the Lions running backs last week, so a big game could be in store for Ballard come Thursday night.Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings--1:00 PMSit--Percy Harvin, WR (MIN) Reason--The Vikings made a statement on Monday that Percy Harvin would be a “long shot” to play this week when the team faced off against the Lions. Harvin’s ankle was sprained in three different places in last week’s loss to the Seahawks and is currently using crutches to walk, so it is safe to say he will be out and should be benched for those who aren’t paying close attention to the situation.Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots--1:00 PMStart--Scott Chandler, TE (BUF) Reason--Although Scott Chandler has been very inconsistent over his three-year career, when going against the Patriots, that’s a different story. In his last three games against his divisional rival Chandler has found the end zone three times including a two touchdown performance in Week 4, so consider using him if needed.Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints--1:00 PMSit--Atlanta Falcons Defense/Special Teams Reason--The Saints offense hasn’t been playing at its highest level over the last few games but in a must-win game expect them to come out firing against their divisional rival. The Falcons defense as a whole has played well this season but have yet to match up against a passing attack like Drew Brees will bring so don’t expect too much production from this group come Sunday.New York Giants at Cincinnati Bengals--1:00 PMStart--BenJarvus Green-Ellis, RB (CIN) Reason--The Giants may have the most overrated defense in all of football and have been horrible against the run over the last few weeks including allowing over 140 rushing yards in two of their last three games. BenJarvus Green-Ellis has yet to produce at the level the Bengals expected after signing him in the offseason, but this week he should be able to prove to his doubters he still has something left in the tank so start him with confidence.Tennessee Titans at Miami Dolphins--1:00 PMStart--Ryan Tannehill, QB (CIN) Reason--The Dolphins have gotten all they expected, plus some, out of Ryan Tannehill this season and so have the fantasy owners who have rolled with him in certain matchups. This week is one of those times to start him as he faces off against the Titans, who have given up the third-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks and have allowed double-digit touchdowns in all but two of their first nine games, so a big day is in store for Tannehill come Sunday.San Diego Chargers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers--1:00 PMSit--Mike Williams, WR (TB) Reason--Since coming off of their bye week, the Chargers have given up little to no production to opposing wide receivers, which is a cause of concern for those who have been rolling with Mike Williams over the last few weeks. Williams has found the end zone in three of his last four games so it may be appealing to keep him in as a starter, but if you have a safer option it would be wise to consider it.Denver Broncos at Carolina Panthers--1:00 PMSit--Jonathan Stewart, RB (CAR) Reason--Jonathan Stewart failed to take advantage of a great matchup last week proving once again he can’t be trusted. The Panthers backfield has turned into more of a guessing game than anyone could have anticipated, so it would be wise to keep him benched unless DeAngelo Williams goes down with an injury in the near future.Oakland Raiders at Baltimore Ravens--1:00 PMStart--Anquan Boldin, WR (BAL) Reason--Although Anquan Boldin hasn’t found the end zone since Week 1, this week he faces off against a Raiders secondary that allowed four touchdowns to opposing wide receivers over their last four games with a lot of that production coming from team’s second options. Expect the Raiders to try and limit Torrey Smith, which should give Boldin owners plenty to cheer about on Sunday.New York Jets at Seattle Seahawks--4:05 PMSit--Sidney Rice, WR (SEA) Reason--The Jets defense can’t stop the run, which should mean a lot of work for Marshawn Lynch out of the Seahawks backfield. This will limit the production from Sidney Rice, not to mention he will likely be covered by Antonio Cromartie, who has done a good job covering opposing team’s top options, so look for a different option if possible.Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles--4:25 PMSit--Michael Vick, QB (PHI) Reason--I didn’t think it was possible, but as the weeks go on Michael Vick and the Eagles offense continues to get worse. The Cowboys have done a good job limiting production to opposing quarterbacks and haven’t allowed a touchdowns in two weeks, so don’t expect too much production out of Vick and the Eagles passing game come Sunday.St. Louis Rams at San Francisco 49ers--4:25 PMStart--Vernon Davis, TE (SF) Reason--Once a fixture in starting lineups, Vernon Davis has fallen off over the last four games failing to score a touchdown and failing to be productive in the 49ers offense. This week he has a good chance of getting back on track as the 49ers take on the Rams, who have allowed three touchdowns to opposing tight ends over their last three games, so a big day could be in store on Sunday.Houston Texans at Chicago Bears--8:20 PMSit--Jay Cutler, QB (CHI) Reason--The Bears, lead by Jay Cutler, have been rolling this season, but has yet to match up against a defense like the Texans will bring on Sunday. The Texans has allowed single-digit fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks five times this season, including back-to-back games, so it would be wise to use a different option considering the matchup.Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers--8:30 PM (MON)Start--Emmanuel Sanders, WR (PIT) Reason--With Antonio Brown doubtful for Monday night’s game against the Chiefs, Emmanuel Sanders will step up and be the team’s No. 2 option in the passing game. Sanders was targeted in the red zone in last week’s win over the Giants, so it is safe to say he has the trust of Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers coaching staff making him a solid play this week.
