I like taking any of the top three starters here as my SP2/3. None are true aces, but all three feature decent strikeout numbers, andthe ERA & WHIP projections are right within what I want to target for my starting pitchers. Brandon Beachy is a high upside pitcher, who if he comes back to put up his pre-injury numbers, would be a steal. Alex Wood doesn't project out as a high inning starting pitcher, but he offers a huge ceiling if he reaches his potential, and he is a late draft pick, at least for now. Wood offers an excellent K/9 rates 9.2, better than his rotation-mates, whose numbers range between 7 and 8 strikeouts per 9 innings. You have to love a staff that offers across the board sub 4.00 ERA and WHIPS well below my upper threshold for starting pitchers, with the exception of Wood who is just .02 points over 1.29.
The alternatives are not players you want to roster unless you are drafting in a 16+team league, with large pitching staffs. Of the two, Floyd initially projects out as the best option. In a streaming situation, I could see using them on a limited basis, given their acceptable WHIP projections, but would not tie myself to either Floyd or Garcia long term during the season.
