Blown Saves
*Top 10
*Note: I track blown saves that happened by guys who were brought into finish the game. Such as guys in the closer role, or other pitchers who were brought in late in the game. A guy who picks up a “blown save,” for example, in the 6th inning is very irrelevant in my opinion, when tracking fantasy assets.

Who’s Hot?
Jeurys Familia (35% owned) appears to have retaken the closing gig for the Mets this week and it was a strong showing in his first week back. He converted on both of his save opportunities and also picked up a win. He had four strikeouts in 3.1 innings and surrendered just one run against him. Familia’s season line still isn’t pretty, but he has given up just one earned run in his last seven appearances. A.J. Ramos had been struggling so it isn’t surprising to see the Mets turn back to their former (and 2018 projected) closer. Fantasy owners who drafted Familia this season are no doubt disappointed with the results, but he is finishing up strong. YTD stats: 23.2 innings, 5 saves, 23 K, 4.56 ERA.
Hector Neris (63% owned) had a strong week and picked up strikeouts in bunches. He converted on all three of his save chances and had eight strikeouts across three shutout innings. His K/9 is solid at 10.38, but a 24.00 K/9 week is eye popping. Neris has now gone five straight appearances without allowing a run and is finishing up the year in fantastic form. He is currently 26-29 in save chances and also picked up four holds in the early part of the season. He was a lower-tier closer this year because he pitched for the Phillies, but his individual stats were rock solid. YTD stats: 73.2 innings, 26 saves, 85 K, 3.05 ERA.
Who’s Cold?
Raisel Iglesias (87% owned) has been fantastic as the Reds closer all season… well until this week. Iglesias pitched just two times this week and failed to convert on his lone save chance. He gave up four earned runs across just two innings pitched and only had two strikeouts. He had a 3.00 WHIP for the week as he allowed three hitters to reach base against him in both of his outings. It marked his third straight appearance giving up earned runs. The Reds will be looking for him to turn it around over the last few games of the season. He still resides in the upper-half of the closing ranks, despite the rough week. YTD stats: 75.0 innings, 27 saves, 92 K, 2.40 ERA.
