We. Are. Back! We unfortunately had a two week hiatus, but we’re back and we have analysis for tonight’s Monday Night Football game for Boom Fantasy's DFS contests! If you want to play against our team, check out this link HERE and if it’s your FIRST time depositing on Boom, you’ll get a free month of the Playbook Pro, and if you haven’t heard, the whole team here at Fantasy Alarm is CRUSHING it!

QB’s

It’s rare we get a QB question with three options, but the uncertainty surrounding Marcus Mariota made that possible. Luckily for us, he’s likely going to play, and if the hamstring is bothering him at all, he’ll be sitting in the pocket and looking to pick apart this week Colts secondary like a surgeon. That being said, the Titans have had one of the worst secondaries in football in their own regard, allowing 12 touchdowns in just five games, just two behind the league leading Patriots who have played six contests. Jacoby Brissett is a sneaky option here and would get you a leg up on the competition if he were to throw for the most yards. Matt Cassel will only see the field if it’s clear Marcus Mariota is hurt and isn’t effective.

RB’s

For question two, we have two backfields that have two backs sharing the rock. I guess sharing isn’t the right word, but two guys in DeMarco Murray and Frank Gore who see more touches than their backup each game, but lose playing time because of those same backups potential to take one to the house on any given play. Murray is the favorite here and is the easy choice. That said, he’s maxed out at 14 carries this year and has gone over 58 yards just once, but since he’s healthy, he’ll see the volume we’re looking for. Derrick Henry is the darkhorse, fourth selection here, but that’s all he really is right now as the Titans have rushed him just 10 times combined over the last two games. Marlon Mack and Frank Gore are interesting however, as Mack is the clear upside play, but Gore has seen 10-plus carries in each game this year.

Receiving

Delanie Walker is the favorite for question three, which is asking us who will have the most receiving yards Monday night. It’s clear as day that Walker’s connection with Marcus Mariota is strong, much stronger than what he had, or didn’t have with Matt Cassel last week catching just three balls for 25 yards. Eric Decker would score you the most points if he were to win this question, but he hasn’t quite found his niche in Tennessee as he’s yet to clear 50 yards in a game. Jack Doyle should be back for this Week 6 matchup and is a nice, safe play. He’s had five targets or more in all of Jacoby Brissett’s starts and we’ve already mentioned how bad Tennessee’s secondary guards anyone going out to catch a pass. Donte Moncrief is really someone we just simply can’t trust right now. He hasn’t seen more than three targets in three straight games and T.Y. Hilton and Jack Doyle are soaking up all the yards in this Colts passing attack.

Question four stays with the receivers as we’re asked who will have the most receptions between Corey Davis, Kamar Aiken, Taywan Taylor and Brandon Williams. Unfortunately for us, Corey Davis has been ruled out, so per Boom Fantasy rules, this question will be voided.

Touchdowns

It is going to be really, really hard not to select T.Y. Hilton to score the most touchdowns on Monday. He’s notched 153 yards or more in two of his last three games, finding the endzone once, but nobody on the Titans has a chance at guarding him. Rishard Matthews is the other intriguing option here. He scored nine times last season and is Marcus Mariota’s go-to receiver, especially in the red zone. He could find paydirt here just once and that could be all he needs to take down the question. Jonnu Smith has scored twice this year, but has just 11 targets and is a true unknown, especially with Delanie Walker ahead of him on the depth chart. We’ve already touched on Marlon Mack being a high upside guy, as we’ve seen him score twice already this season.

NFL/MLB Hybrid

Yes we get a hybrid question, but there’s a twist! For the baseball total bases part, it’s only innings 3-through-9, so we will miss out on at least one of Jose Altuve and Didi Gregorius’ at-bats. The football side asks us about passing touchdowns and we’ve got two of the worst secondaries in football facing off. The Titans and Colts have a sneaky O/U of 46.5 and could end up being a shootout. If you want to be contrarian here, choose one of the QB’s.

Receiving Yards

The last two questions are always individual receiving questions, so we have each team’s go-to guy. How convenient! Rishard Matthews is averaging 56.8 yards per game and the Colts have allowed the seventh most receiving yards to WR in the league. He’s likely to eclipse his season average as long as Marcus Mariota stays under center all game. We touched on how electric T.Y. Hilton has been over his last three games notching 153 yards plus in two of them. The Titans secondary is awful and can definitely be exploited.
