Todd Frazier went 1-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, and one run scored in the White Sox 8-7 win over the Orioles on Saturday.

Frazier notched his seventh home run this season, which is an impressive number to have before the calendar flips to May. Frazier has four home runs and 10 RBI in his past ten games and has also seen his average crawl up from .206 to .229. As is suggested by his average, it’s been an all or nothing season for Frazier and tonight he delivered. He will look to homer in consecutive games for the first time as a White Sox player when he faces Ubaldo Jimenez tomorrow.

Jonathan Schoop went 1-for-3 with a home run, one RBI, and one run scored in the Orioles 8-7 loss to the White Sox on Saturday.

Schoop went deep for the fourth time this season in the fourth inning of tonight’s game. Tonight’s stat-line is pretty much what can be expected of Schoop throughout the season as he hitting just .218 but is on pace for 28 home runs. However, tonight’s was his first since his two home run performance on April 15. He will take on Chris Sale tomorrow, and although Schoop has hit .294 in 17 at-bats against left-handed pitching this season there is not much to get excited about with that matchup.

Pedro Alvarez went 3-for-5 with a home run, two RBI, and one run scored in the Orioles 8-7 loss to the White Sox on Saturday.

Alvarez finally got ahold of his first home run this season when he took Mat Latos deep in the fourth inning of tonight’s game. He has slowly started to show signs of coming out of his season long slump as he now has multiple hits in three of his past four games. He will likely be out of the lineup tomorrow however with the best left-handed pitcher in the game, Chris Sale, taking the mound.

Brett Lawrie went 1-for-3 with a home run, one RBI, and two runs scored in the White Sox 8-7 win over the Orioles on Saturday.

Lawrie hit his third home run of the season off of Kevin Gausman in the fourth inning of tonight’s game. He has now homered in two consecutive games and has quietly been extremely productive this season, as he has scored at least one run in seven of his past 10 games and has five RBI in that span as well. He will look to continue to produce tomorrow when the White Sox take on right-handed pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez, though Lawrie has hit just .229 in 70 at-bats against right-handed pitching this season.

Kevin Gausman allowed two earned runs and four hits while walking one and striking out three over six innings in the Orioles 8-7 loss to the White Sox Saturday.

Gausman was a tough luck loser as he thoroughly outpitched Mat Latos but the Orioles bullpen let him down. Since returning from injury, Gausman has looked strong, especially with his ratio stats. He didn’t have the strikeout pitch working tonight but there can’t be many complaints in response to his performance tonight. He will look to continue his impressive start to the season in his next start on Friday against Oakland.

Jeanmar Gomez pitched one inning and allowed two hits to record the save in Philadelphia’s 4 - 3 win over Cleveland on Saturday.

After the Phillies tried two other pitchers at the closer position, Jeanmar Gomez has taken the role and ran with it. He did give up two hits on Saturday night to Cleveland but worked around it to record his eighth save of April. Gomez has an ERA of 1.80 in 15 innings with a 11:3 K:BB. His FIP is at 3.08 so his ERA may move towards his FIP in May. But if he is getting saves, fantasy owners will not complain.

Mat Latos allowed four earned runs and 11 hits while walking one and striking out two over five innings in the White Sox 8-7 win over the Orioles Saturday.

Latos got knocked around in just about every way possible by the Orioles tonight but it can’t come as much of a surprise. His velocity had been down all season and his good early season numbers had come largely from good matchups and some BABIP magic. Latos is scheduled to make his next start on Thursday at home against the Red Sox.

Freddy Galvis was 2-for-4 with a run, home run and three RBI in the Phillies 4 - 3 win over the Indians on Saturday.

With Odubel Herrera leading off with a single, Freddy Galvis promptly hit a two run home run to give the Phillies an early lead. He finished the game with two hits and three RBI. For the year, Galvis has three homers with 10 RBI but it hitting .233 and was hitting second for the Phillies. There are flaws in his game, but when he hits near the top of the lineup, it improves his chances to be a fantasy factor. But his production is too sporadic to trust in fantasy.

Odubel Herrera was 2-for-4 with a run scored in the Phillies 4 - 3 win over Cleveland on Saturday.

In an interesting evolution this season, Odubel Herrera has pushed his OBP to .462 this year and has reached base in 21 straight games. Last year, Herrera walked 28 times in 147 games, this April he has 23 free passes. Herrera has pushed his way atop the batting order and with an average over three hundred, he may remain there for the Phillies. He has scored 15 runs in April with more walks than strikeouts. Not too bad for a former Rule 5 pick. Sunday will be a tough assignment against Danny Salazar so tread lightly in daily game use.
