Warriors GM Bob Myers said Stephen Curry doesn’t know when he’ll return, nobody does.

Curry underwent a platelet-rich plasma treatment on his sprained right knee on Tuesday as a way to continue his recovery process. This is the second treatment he has received since the injury in hopes of speeding up the recovery time. The Warriors had expected Curry back for either Saturday's Game 3 or Monday's Game 4, but Myers' statement does not give anyone much optimism. We should know more about his status after Thursday's practice. The Warriors currently hold a 2-0 series lead.

Tommy Pham (oblique) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Memphis on Wednesday.

Pham strained his left oblique during the first game of the Cardinals season, so it's good news to see him begin a rehab assignment on Wednesday. He is expected back on the Cardinals' active roster early next week. The 28 year old had a good season last year with a .809 OPS.

Buster Posey is not in the Giants starting lineup Wednesday.

The Giants are following the common policy of not playing a veteran, to keep him fresh over the long season, in a day game following a night game, especially if the team is planning to travel to another city the next day. Trevor Brown will get the start at catcher this afternoon and bat seventh against Reds' right hander Dan Straily. The Giants are going back to San Francisco to begin a four game set against the Rockies.

David Wright is not in the Mets starting lineup Wednesday.

It's a get away day for the Mets which means it is not surprising that a veteran like Wright is getting a routine day-off on Wednesday against Braves. We will see Wilmer Flores get the start at third base and bat seventh against Braves' starter Jhoulys Chacin. The Mets head to San Diego to start a four game series against the Padres on Thursday.

Brad Boxberger threw about 30 pitches, mixing fastballs, changeups and sliders, in his third bullpen session of his recovery from core muscle repair surgery.

Boxberger is progressing on schedule with his abdominal injury. He's been adding more pitches in his workouts and is scheduled to return to the Ray's Spring Training camp and pitch some simulated games. He's about 2 weeks away from coming back to the Rays. In the meantime his fill-in Alex Colome is doing pretty well so far with a 3.00 ERA and five saves in Boxberger's absence.

Tyler Holt is batting second for the Reds Wednesday.

Holt will play centerfield for the Reds with Hamilton sideline after aggravated a thumb injury. Holt has been effective in a limited role this season with a slash line of .348/.400/.391 in 26 plate appearances and faces Giants starter Jake Peavy. Peavy has been dreadful this season, pitching to an ERA of 8.61 and a WHIP of 2.00 in five starts. At minimum salary, Holt could be a solid salary relief option in DFS. The entire Reds lineup could be an option on Wednesday.
