Tevin Coleman Headshot

Tevin Coleman (ankle) was upgraded to full at practice on Friday.

Coleman's status never seem to seriously be in question, but this is obviously a nice update to the situation. Coleman is coming off of a three-touchdown performance against New Orleans this past Monday, but the Falcons will face a much tougher Carolina defense Sunday.

Josh Hill Headshot

Saints have ruled out Josh Hill for Week 4.

Hill was originally expected to be out two or three weeks after suffering an ankle injury in Week 1. He is a backup to starting tight end Coby Fleener.

Donte Whitner Headshot

Giants will workout Dante Whitner this weekend.

The Giants are suddenly very thin at safety after Nat Berhe ended up in the concussion protocol this week. The team has been working out some of their receivers at the position during practice, but that is obviously not ideal. Whitner has 10 years of NFL experience and was selected to three straight Pro Bowls from 2012-'14.

Alex Bregman Headshot

Alex Bregman is out of the Astros lineup on Friday.

Bregman got back in the Astros' starting lineup Wednesday following a couple weeks off due to injury. However, he will take a seat on Friday night.

Evan Gattis Headshot

Evan Gattis is out of the Astros lineup on Friday.

Gattis will take a seat Friday night as George Springer slides into the DH spot and Teoscar Hernandez takes over in right field. Springer will remain in his typical leadoff spot while Hernandez lines up seventh opposite Angels' righty Daniel Wright.

Yasmany Tomas Headshot

Yasmany Tomas was scratched on Friday.

Tomas has been dealing with some neck and back issues for a while now. The Diamondbacks will go with Brandon Drury and Socrates Brito in the corner-outfield spots on Friday night.

Yasmani Grandal Headshot

Yasmani Grandal is out of the Dodgers lineup on Friday.

Same as Gonzalez, the Dodgers have the opportunity to rest some starters vs Bumgarner. Grandal was 1-12 with 6 K's lifetime off of him.

Ben Simmons Headshot

Ben Simmons has a broken bone in his foot.

Simmons rolled his right ankle during the final scrimmage of the team's 2016 Training Camp, and the MRI revealed the fracture. The team states that options are being considered at this time and additional updates will be provided when appropriate. This is a huge blow to the Sixers and their number one overall pick, and will be waiting for a timetable to return.
