Leandro Barbosa Headshot

Barbosa (hamstring) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Clippers, Craig Grialou of Arizona Sports reports.

Barbosa may miss his third consecutive game with a lingering right hamstring injury Thursday. With Devin Booker (ankle) also a game-time decision, the Suns' backcourt will be stretched thin, possibly prompting coach Earl Watson to send Derrick Jones into the starting five if both Barbosa and Booker are absent once more.

Devin Booker Headshot

Booker (ankle) is a game-time decision for Thursday's matchup against the Clippers, Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Booker's status for Thursday's action is in question after he missed Tuesday's game against the Hawks with an ankle injury that he may have aggravated during his 70-point outburst Friday against the Celtics. With the Suns well out of the playoff picture, coach Earl Watson likely won't want to risk Booker injuring himself any further if there's reasonable doubt that he should see the floor. If he happens to miss Thursday's contest, it seems likely that Derrick Jones would draw a second consecutive start.
8:26 pm (EST)
Sonny Gray Headshot

Gray (back) remains without a timetable to get back to throwing off a mound, Joe Stiglich of NBC California reports.

The A's ace remains in a holding pattern in his return from a lat strain. Stiglich reports that Gray will play catch on flat ground from 120 feet in the near future, at which point the A's will likely reassess his timetable. In any case, Gray is still expected to miss the first couple weeks of the season before rejoining the rotation.
8:23 pm (EST)
Anthony Mantha Headshot

Mantha sustained an upper-body injury during Thursday night's game in Tampa Bay and will not return.

Mantha was likely injured during his fight with Luke Witkowski, as Mantha served his five-minute major and then did not return to the ice. The 22-year-old did not record any more stats before being ruled out for the remainder of the contest.
8:22 pm (EST)
Julio Urias Headshot

Urias was officially optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday, Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times reports.

It had previously been reported that Urias would not be on the Opening Day roster, but the Dodgers made the move official during their final round of cuts Thursday. The Dodgers will reportedly limit Urias' innings in the early portion of the season in an effort to keep him fresh down the stretch. He'll likely be back with the major league club later this spring or early in the summer.
8:15 pm (EST)
Robert Wilson Headshot

Wilson was reassigned to minor league camp Thursday, Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The Dodgers made their final round of roster cuts Thursday in advance of Opening Day, and despite a decent showing at the dish this spring (.275/.326/.575), Wilson will head down to the minors. With Wilson no longer up with the Dodgers, the club will carry Yasmani Grandal and Austin Barnes on the Opening Day roster.
8:08 pm (EST)
Trayce Thompson Headshot

Thompson was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday, Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The Dodgers made their final round of cuts Thursday with Opening Day looming, optioning Chris Taylor, Julio Urias, and Thompson to Triple-A. Thompson slashed .226/.351/.323 over 31 spring at-bats and struck out 12 times. With Thompson down at Oklahoma City, the Dodgers' standard outfield will likely consist of Andrew Toles, Joc Pederson, and Yasiel Puig.
8:01 pm (EST)
Kevon Looney Headshot

Looney (hip) is doubtful to take part in Friday's action against the Rockets.

After missing Wednesday's win against the Spurs with a left hip strain, the Warriors are doubtful that Looney will be ready for Friday's tilt against the Rockets. He's spent most of the season bouncing back and forth between the NBA and the D-League, so his probable absence likely won't affect the fantasy climate.
7:51 pm (EST)
Ryan Getzlaf Headshot

Getzlaf (lower body) took line rushes in pregame warmups, indicating that he will likely return for Thursday night's game in Winnipeg, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.

Getzlaf is slated to reclaim his spot on Anaheim's top line Thursday after missing Tuesday's game in Vancouver. The 31-year-old has eight assists in his last four games and will look to keep up the momentum as the Ducks continue the fight for playoff positioning.
7:49 pm (EST)
Chris Taylor Headshot

Taylor was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday, J.P. Hoonstra of the Southern California News Group reports.

He had been in consideration for one of the Dodgers' final bench spots thanks to his positional versatility and strong showing in spring training (.370/.500/.522), but the club ultimately decided to send him down to Triple-A for more regular playing time. With Taylor moving down to Triple-A, it appears Enrique Hernandez will break camp with the big league club.
