Henry Urrutia is expected to rejoin Triple-A Norfolk next week. He's been on the disabled list after undergoing sports hernia surgery.

It's going to take some time for Urrutia to get back to normal after a fairly significant amount of off. You shouldn't expect much of a call-up for him until he starts swinging a hot bat in the minors.

Henry Urrutia will go on a rehab assignment next week. He's recovering from hernia surgery.

Urrutia will likely stay in the minors once he completes his rehab assignment and won't be up unless the Orioles outfield gets decimated by injuries. Fantasy owners should continue to ignore him at this time.

Manager Buck Showalter said Henry Urrutia's sports hernia surgery on Tuesday in Philladelphia went well.

Good for him hopefully it didn't freak him out to much to see his unit turn purple afterward (anyone who has had that surgery knows what I'm talking about).

Henry Urrutia will have sports hernia surgery on Tuesday.

This surgery will keep Urrutia sidelined at least until July. He was only batting .220/.250/.293 with seven RBI this season at Triple-A, so it's not likely that he will be missed.

Triple-A Norfolk OF Henry Urrutia placed on disabled list, retro to April 29, with abdominal strain.

Through 20 games at Triple-A Norfolk, Urritia is batting .220 with seven RBI, so it's doubtful that his game is going to be missed that much now that he's on the DL. There's no word as to how long he could be out, but abdominal and oblique injuries tend to fall in the 2-to-4 or 6-to-8 week range. Without knowing the severity, it's impossible to make a guess beyond that.

The Orioles have optioned RHP Steve Johnson and OF Henry Urrutia to Triple-A Norfolk.

A Johnson and a Urrutia, sounds like a urological exam, one you would need as you should be kicked in the Steve Johnson if this news affects your fantasy team.

Henry Urrutia who had right shoulder inflammation is a full go on Thursday.

5 Mar, 05:46 PMSource

Henry Urrutia said he felt shoulder issue when he went to throw in Friday's game. He never had an issue before and will be shut down until Tuesday.

The Orioles have elected to give Urrutia some extra days off in the effort to prevent further injury. Urrutia is fighting for the final outfield spot, but in all likelihood with start the season in the minors. where he spend his first season since defecting from Cuba. At best, he will have limited fantasy value late in the season.
