White Sox outrighted P Frank De Los Santos to clear a spot on the 40-man roster.

Just a procedural move here with absolutely zero fantasy ramifications. You may now move on to the next post.

Marcus Semien went 1-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and a walk in the White Sox loss to the Royals on Sunday.

He launched his sixth home run of the year, and ends 2014 with 28 RBIs. The .234 average is rather disappointing and Chicago could explore other options at the hot corner. While it wasn't a great 2014 for Semien, it is in the past now, and he is already looking ahead to 2015. With that being said, leave Semien off your draft boards as there are plenty of better options than the White Sox third baseman.

Chris Bassit allowed three runs on eight hits and a walk with five strikeouts over five innings in a no decision against the Royals on Sunday.

In 29.2 innings with the White Sox, Bassit was an average pitcher for Chicago. While he made some relief appearances, and some starts, he ended with an even 1-1 record. He also ends the year with a 3.94 ERA, and will hope to be a starter in their 2015 rotation. Even he acquires a starting spot, it was a relatively small sample size this year, so it is hard to determine what he could be for fantasy owners. At this point, he his best left off your draft board, but he will hope to build upon 2014 next year.

Avisail Garcia returned to the lineup Saturday after leaving Thursday's game with back stiffness.

With only one game left in the regular season, we can expect to see Garcia in the starting lineup once again on Sunday. Through 167 at-bats, Garcia is slashing .246/.308/.419 with seven home runs and 29 RBI in his second year in the big leagues.

Paul Konerko is slated for his final start at first base in Sunday's season finale.

Konerko is sitting on a .279 career batting average with 439 home runs, with the majority of his production coming since joining the White Sox in 1999. Although he will likely not find himself in Cooperstown, he has certainly been a class act over the course of his career and will be missed in the White Sox clubhouse when he retires after the season.

Hector Noesi allowed three earned runs on six hits while walking two and striking out five over six innings in the White Sox 3-1 loss to the Royals on Friday.

Noesi has struggled this month posting a 4.85 ERA over his four previous starts. His loss tonight brings his season ERA to 4.75 to go with a 8-12 record and 1.37 WHIP over 172.1 innings.

Avisail Garcia (back) is not in the White Sox starting lineup Friday.

Garcia tweaked his back on Thursday night and will rest on Friday. Given his injury situation this year, he could just shut it down for the rest of the season, but he may try to give it a whirl on Saturday or Sunday.
