Jose Abreu went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored in the White Sox loss to the Twins on Sunday.

Abreu continues to rake and is a must-start fantasy option. Abreu will be a very early round pick in drafts next year as he hits for average and for power. For now, keep starting Abreu without question.

Hector Noesi fell to 8-10 after he allowed five runs on eight hits and two walks with three strikeouts over 6.2 innings in a loss to the Twins on Sunday.

Noesi should not be started in fantasy leagues. He is inconsistent, has an 8-10 record, and an eye-popping 4.77 ERA. He was done in by Jordy Schafer and Trevor Plouffe home runs and by allowing 13 base runners in 6.2 innings.

Scott Carroll was removed from Saturday's game with a torn fingernail.

Caroll had thrown five innings of four run ball before leaving. He should be fine for his next start, but Chicago will likely give us an update on his status soon.

Paul Konerko is expected to hit off of the tee on Saturday. He took what he called dry swings yesterday and will update his ability to hit Sunday morning.

The swelling in Konerko's hand has gone down but he's still having a little trouble gripping and swinging the bat. He is hoping to be back before the end of the current road trip.

Dayan Viciedo is not in the White Sox starting lineup for Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader .

Viciedo will take the seat against righthander Phil Hughes, but is expected to start Game 2 against lefty Logan Darnell. Jordan Danks will get the start in left field for Game 1.

Marcus Semien went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in the White Sox 1-0 win over the A's on Thursday.

Semien isn't known for his power but managed to go deep on Thursday night. He is now batting .218 on the season.

Chris Sale allowed just two hits while walking two and striking out nine over eight shutout innings in the White Sox 1-0 win over the A's on Thursday.

Sale is an absolute phenomenon. After today's win, he is now 12-3 with a 1.99 ERA and 192 strikeouts in 163 innings pitched. He probably won't win the AL Cy Young award, but he should finish second or third in overall voting.
