Suns forward T.J. Warren suffered a fractured thumb and is out indefinitely.

The Suns originally thought that Warren suffered a sprain, but further tests revealed the fracture and now the team is wondering how long before he can return. He'll undergo more tests and the team will set a potential timetable, but for now, you may want to assume a four-to-six week absence.

Alex Len (finger) will not play Tuesday, but he does plan to return to action Wednesday night against the Clippers.

The Suns' backup center has been out of action for two weeks with a fractured pinky finger but appears ready to get back into game action on Wednesday night. The second year player logged just 8.9 minutes per game in 2013-14, but should see an uptick this season. As of now, he shouldn't be on fantasy radars.

Alex Len returned to practice Monday after he fractured his finger 13 days ago. He is expected to play later this week.

Len broke his pinkie but seemed to be doing just fine at the shootaround with taping up the finger. He'll continue to practice this week, though he may be limited somewhat.and should be ready to go for games late in the week and then the start of the regular season.

Shavlik Randolph (knee) was held out of Thursday's game against the Spurs.

Randolph has seen limited action and has no has even less fantasy value than he does actual value.

Alex Len said his fractured right pinkie felt sore catching and shooting on Thursday.

Len had a lost rookie season after being taken 5th overall which was marred by injury and poor play. This appears to be yet another snag but the Suns will give him plenty of opportunities to be the player they thought they drafted.

Suns reduced their roster to 16 players by waiving guards Joe Jackson and Casey Prather and forward Jamil Wilson Tuesday.

These three players didn't have much of a shot to make the team and these cuts confirm that. The Suns still have one more cut to make by October 27 before their roster can be set to start the 2014-15 season.

Suns have waived Joe Jackson, Casey Prather and Jamil Wilson.

Oh no! Former Memphis Tiger, Joe Jackson, got cut from the team, along with Prather and Wilson. All three players will play pro ball somewhere, in the D-League or overseas, but none of these guys are expected to make an NBA roster this season.

Anthony Tolliver said he "might lead the league in three-pointers" this season.

The 6'8" Tolliver is replacing Channing Frye at power forward with Frye now in Orlando. Frye made more than one three per game in his four seasons in Pheonix, and Tolliver, a .352 percent shooter from beyond the arc, should fill that role nicely. Tolliver is not as good as Frye, especially when it comes to rebounding and blocking shots, but he should play a lot and he is a cheap source of threes for fantasy.

Anthony Tolliver and P.J. Tucker will start Friday night, according to coach Jeff Hornacek.

While Tucker will be suspended for the first three games of the regular season for a DUI and media suspected that he could lose his starting role due to this, it appears that he'll have the starting job to start the season over Marcus Morris. Last season as a starter, he averaged 9.4rnpoints and 6.5rebounds in 30.7 minutes per game. Tolliver tore the webbing between his pinkie and ring finger earlier in October, requiring three stitches. He'll start on Friday night, however he's expected to back up Markieff Morris at power forward to start the season. He was signed in free agency by the Suns this offseason after averaging 6.1 PPG and 2.6 RPG in 20.3MPG with the Hornets last season.

Anthony Tolliver (finger) was cleared to shoot at Wednesday's shootaround.

The stitches from his finger will be removed on Thursday and the distinct possibility remains that he could play in Friday's preseason game. The expectation is that Tolliver could see anywhere from 15-25 minutes per game on the court this season.
