Joe Jackson is finalizing a free-agent deal with the Phoenix Suns.

Hell Yea! So excited my boy from the University of Memphis got signed to a free agent deal. He's a fast, but short point guard, that can get to the rim and hit outside shots. His passing is a bit suspect, but has great handles (dribbling skills). He will join the Suns during training camp and will try to play well enough to make the final roster.

Suns guard Isaiah Thomas underwent a successful arthroscopy of his left wrist. He is expected to participate fully in training camp.

Not too bad of a procedure and there's plenty of time between this surgery and training camp, so Thomas shouldn't miss a beat. He averaged 20.3 points over 34.7 minutes per game for the Kings last year and will be looking to continue the upward trajectory his career is taking.

NBA suspends Suns P.J. Tucker three games without pay for pleading guilty to DUI.

Three games for an 82-game season? Id that really enough of a deterrent? If the league wants to set an example, go with ridiculously harsh punishments and let guys know you mean business.

P.J. Tucker will serve three days in jail after pleading guilty to a "super extreme DUI" charge.

He had a B.A.C. of over .20, which is why he got a "super extreme DUI". The NBA hasn't announced a suspension for Tucker, but there will likely be one. Hard to imagine someone even trying to drive that is that intoxicated.

Phoenix Suns forward P.J. Tucker was arrested for a "super extreme DUI" back in May.

Interesting news, coming off the earlier announcement this month that the Suns were resigning him for an additional three years, although reports indicate that the team was aware of the arrest when he was resigned. Boring detail: super extreme DUI requires a .20 blood alcohol content level in Arizona.

Suns are expected to waive guard Dionte Christmas.

Christmas was continuously outplayed by rookie teammate T.J. Warren in the Summer League and was going to find himself buried on the Suns' depth chart. They're better off signing someone else.

T.J. Warren dropped a game-high 26 points in Wednesday's Summer League loss to the Timberwolves.

Warren has been a scoring machine in summer league thus far. The reigning ACC Player of the Year has an excellent fantasy future as offense-first Small Forward in Phoenix. Unfortunately, he's more of a longer term fantasy play since the Suns recently re-signed PJ Tucker.

Anthony Tolliver agrees to two-year, $6 million deal with Suns.

Having lost Channing Frye, the Suns were looking for another guy capable of coming off the bench for 15-20 minutes per game and could be a decent long-range shooter. Tolliver filled that role for Charlotte last season and averaged 6.1 points and 1.6 three pointers per game.

Phoenix Suns top draft pick SF T.J. Warren has scored 48 points in 53 minutes of NBA Summer League play.

Warren is quickly showing that his game, which earned him ACC Player of the Year honors last year, can transition to the NBA. Unfortunately from a fantasy perspective his short-term value took a big hit when the Suns re-signed small forward P.J. Tucker. Warren is still worth targeting in dynasty leagues, but do not reach for him even if he continues to crush it in Vegas, as again his minutes and touches will be very limited in the early going of his career.

Update: Phoenix Suns GM Ryan McDonough said that Alex Len, right pinkie fracture, will not need surgery and will be able to engage in basketball activities in a couple weeks.

Len is a bench player that averaged just 8.6 MPG last season. Though he will miss the remainder of the summer league, he should be on track to begin the season with Phoenix and could see an increase in minutes this year.
